For example test the 4-3-3 Shadow Ninjas tactic and change 3 players preffered role to shadow striker, 2 to wide midfielders etc etc and do the same for the other 2 tactics also.

It would be possible I guess, but very hard/extremely time consuming to test small tweaks. And I kinda have my hands absolutely full with tactic testing.

Tomorrow we will hopefully be able to release the first batch of results! We are 3 guys testing day and night...
 
just about to start a new save with watford, whats looking like the best tactic at the moment in the tests.

preferably a 2 striker formation so deeney and ighalo can tear it up.

appreciate everything you do guys

4-4-2 Heavy Metal v2 is the top tactic in the sub-top team test. It is currently being tested in the underdog test by Lucio, but I believe it will do well there as well.

I didn't get out and out shadow strikers. I retrained 2 strikers at AMC as shadow strikers and and also I trained other AMCs as the Shadow Striker role. None of my shadow strikers for the season were fully suited to the role, but they still did amazingly

gonna try it now, will post up results in about 4-5 hours with how iv'e been getting on, any tips on cheap players for 4-4-2?
 
dominating possession and having so many shots etc, complete domination, but struggling to get results, but i guess thats just this years engine :(
 
What makes the 442 more lethal than Spin The Wheel v3? Spin The Wheel seems like a much more offensive tactic, formation wise.

I like to use all of my players. Especially my keepers. Use both, the strong one for Away games, the soon to be star keeper in Home games. However Ter Stegen was beast this season.

That was based on the results from only one of the tests. Now that we have completed many tests in both databases, we have 124 matches tested per tactic. Overall, the performance levels of those two are quite similar, but the 3-4-3 is insanely high scoring and the 4-4-2 is much better in defense. After 124 matches, they almost got the same amount of points..
(4-4-2 Heavy Metal v2 got 252 points, while 3-4-3 Heavy Metal v3 got 245 points)

Later today we will release this beast of a test of ours :) We just need to test some more forum tactics first! GivingItLaldy and Mahluk have been tested so far.

Someone else is gonna have to help with players :) I only make the tactics :)

thats cool mate, only just got this years version but know the good players from previous FMs, they should still be good this year :)

just seen your previous post too, would you suggest using 343 at home and 442 away from home? if ones high scoring and one has best defence?

Nope, both of them are good both home and away, and one is not better than the other at home or away (after 124 matches tested in a database that removes a lot of randomness in the game).
