Try a different striker? Or let him have time to settle in if he's new.
 
Hey, just thought I'd share some results on my Gillingham save using the 4-2-3-1 Spin the Wheel updated at HOME and using the 4-4-1-1 Spin the Wheel when AWAY.

Found the spreadsheet thread helpful to choose the tactic best for me and to good effect I have had great success.

League: Sky Bet League One
Media Prediction: 23rd
Current Position: 1st - currently unbeaten after 25 games!!

I've not made many transfers, they've all been loan signings bar two (Razak & Taylor) and my team is not the best in the League by a long shot.

Would highly recommend using these two tactics as a set as they are very similar but achieve slightly different results and statistics (see the spreadsheet thread)

Thanks for the tactics Mr L and hope this is helpful for people looking for a good underdog tactic!

Yes, of course :) As soon as I get the time! I've been sick for a few days, and now my kids are sick. When they are better, I will have some spare time :)

I´ve been using Spin The Wheel 4-2-3-1 update at home and Heavy Metal 4-4-2 v2 away since the start of the game, and it´s been outstanding. Unfortunately the new 16.2 patch has ruind it all. In 10 games with the new patch i´ve just won one game and drew 5 and lost 5 with Liverpool. Was fighting for the title and now I'm out of the top 4. Also tried both of these tactics with my first file with Sheffield United in season 21/22, and it´s almost the same there. Very bad results.

Someone else experiencd this?
 
yep, went from 9 games without losing in the 9 games before the update to 2 wins 2 draws and 5 losses in the 9 games after :(
 
3-4-3 Heavy Metal v2 is working wonders for me still. Going strong with my Leeds, have won alot.

Shame there wasn't a 4-3-2-1 at start, I have been building my team to do 3-4-3 :P
 
Mr L always appreciated your work over the years. Quick question I'm hoping someone can help me with.
Does spin the wheel work with underdogs as well as top level teams? And work ok in lower leagues? Apologies if its been asked before!

I Don't know if anyone has posted this tactic yet, but on SI Games forum is excellent tactic called 1-2-2-3-3 Tweebier plug and play great results. I used it on two saved test games in Holland & France where I started unemployed and I've taken a job with bottom half league club in the second tier of that country between October/December of 2015. And won promotion to the top tier, plus second tier league title in the first season without buying in any new players and just working with one's I have.

It's worth a go at the tactic, there's two tactics: for a strong team use attacking tactic and for a weaker team use control tactic.

I'm a really big fan of your tactics, especially the 4-2-3-1 Spin the Wheel!
But as of late i'm having a little dificulties with getting good results.
probably because of the update.

So i was wondering wether or not you are still working on an update for the tactics?
