As we have all come to find out. After a season of success, teams set up better against any great tactic and therefore we have to change things just a little bit to outsmart the opposition once again. I feel i have the answer to the above poster's issue. Last season i used 4-2-3-1 spin the wheel and 4-3-2-1 asym heavy metal to good success in the league. But this season i've been found out as expected and i lost 2 of my first 5 league games 0-3 to Everton and 0-2 to Southampton. After the tweak i went on to school Arsenal 5-1, liverpool 3-0. Here is my fixture list so far in the second season.

And here's the screenshot of the little adjustment i made to the team instructions

I pushed the
defence line back to normal.
Removed offside trap. Told them to
play fairly wide instead of narrow into the hands of the opposition. Then told them to
go through both wings instead of the the middle and voila that is all. Everything else remains the same and you can start hammering teams again. I don't know how long this will last. i figure if they setup again for this, i'll just rever back to the original tactic. Btw i used this tweak for both the 4-2-3-1 spinning chairs and the 4-3-2-1 heavy metal but i find it works better with the heavy metal. haven't used it much with the spinning chairs. you can try both.
I call this tweak
"FOR THE BUS"
