The formation doesn't get changed if you get a man sent off. The subs are done by the assistant manager.

Also I would like suggest that in future you might consider to setup a league specific test like Premier League test, Italy league and etc consist of the original league teams to test the top 10 or 20 tactic. This will give us a better idea on which tactic is best for which league.

Thanks for the tip about the contracts! Will definitely have a look at this when I make the database for FM18 :)

League specific tests are also a good idea, although it is much more time consuming. But it is definitely something we can consider for the future :)
 
Is it via third party media fire/imageshack ? or is there an upload system?

You are saying that if you test a tactic with 4-4-2 formation and you get your right full back sent off then the rest of the match you play with this shape? It looks a nonsense to me...

If you don't use Instant Result then you must play in Commentary Mode but how in this case you can make your assistant manager to do substitution for you?

Too many people know a days where they think if they don't like or enjoy it no one else possible will. Each to their own.

And most of us want to see this testings. I don't see why some critises it. You really don't have to use it and if tactic is yours just tell him to remove it if it performed bad. But better jet try and improve it.

Can't believe that the 343 v2 is still top, something doesn't add up in comparison to using it in games. Pre patch it was the best for me but after the patch it's a fair bit worse.
 
SchMike couldn't agry more!!! No disrespect to these guys that put so much effort to this test but something really doesn't add up!! In real saves there is no way I can make no 1 tactic work, but many others such as reaver 22 or the 4222 brazil or the strikeless of veez, work amazingly in most of my saves, in premiere leagu, in sere A, in spanish league, in greek league, with top mid and underdogs!!! After the patch and after this test I tried this tactic in five of my saves, gave it time to gel, with good management, but nothing!!! Again no disrespect to these guys, but speaking for myself this test doesnt show the real dynamic of each tactic and which tactic is better or safer to use!! Again speaking for myself, maybe it s my pc's fault!!! Sorry
 
There are mixed opinions about which tactic is best, and that is why we test. It's perfectly normal that one guy has superb results with a tactic and one guy has bad results with the same tactic. This is due to the randomness in the game. FM is like rolling dices. You can still be "unlucky" even with the "best" tactic.. And this is why results from testing on a small scale (like someone's personal save) says very little about the tactic's performance.

That said, the testing we do can never be 100% accurate, so I'd advise everyone to try like the top 10 tactics, not just the top 1 :)
