For FM18, I will consider making league-specific databases to test in. But this is very much more time consuming, and we would be forced to test fewer tactics than we can now. We could do a poll, see what leagues people play the most, and then make three databases to test in.

Re-tests have shown that the results don't vary more than 10 points maximum. As an example, in 180 matches, 280 vs 290 points = 3,5% deviation.

Maybe do it for 17.3? FM18 is rather long :D
 
Anyway I think your doing a great effort and congruts for it, and I think you also want to improve that s why I am telling you all this!! By the way I am not a tff lover, I also find other tactis underperforming in your tests then in real saves as zyndar's, but we are talkink about beast because it is too obvious making many players overachieve in real saves!! Maybe if we find why exactly is underperforming, you can make your tests even more accurate!! P.s. If you want my results, cause I am testing many tactics and not just in one save but at least three, i can send it to you from know on! I don't know if it helps, I am just one tester!!

Yes sir, your test is the most accurate and consistent atm. I tried running the test with the db you provide and the results are very close to what's published in your website. Big thumbs up!

Mr L, Tzokaras is saying that your test is poorly designed and it poorly reflects what you get in the real game.

You might test for 1000 matches then re-test for another 1000 matches and get exactly the same result but it still be a wrong result(very different from what you get in the real game).

The fact that you get very similar results every time when repeat your test doesn't prove that your test is "perfect" because the results might be the same every time but it might be "wrong" every time.

I know several people who have tried "beast", who didn't have success with it. And I know people who had success with it.. That's the problem with personal save testing.. It's too random..

PS. Our one save has 180 matches, which is the same as four regular saves :)

That's the meaning mark, but never said that it's poor! If beast for example came up as two star tactic, that would be poor!!
 
I'm working 09.00 - 22.30 some days in a row now, so I only have time for sleep when I'm home at the moment :) Will be back soon!

Sure mate, real life has always priority! :) (I got the idea that you had a fully automatic process going, with like a bot doing the tests...)

i think they do but someone has to manually upload the tactics + instructions to be tested to a google drive or something like that.
