Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

That's pretty much what i was doing with the transfers. I was a bit cheap in the last transfer window and didn't want to buy players that were just slightly better than what i had, i wanted future stars...Haha. This is my best lineup at this point:

I am using your training setup and every time i have a meeting with the staff there are a couple players complaining the training is not heavy enough. Did you ever encounter that?

Are you still using the same set up?

It's not a bad side really, although the defence could do with improving, have a look if Stefan Strandberg is still at Rosenborg, he is cheap and very good. Also, I bought Andy Carroll in on loan with Derby and he wasn't very good.

On the training note, I get some saying it's not heavy enough and some saying it's too heavy, but it doesn't seem to effect morale at all so I just ignore it.

I'm still not having the type of success that everyone else is having and I have tried a lot of different things over many seasons and three different teams, the latest, Crystal Palace in the Championship. I am now wondering if I have been wrong to set my manager level as "Sunday League Footballer" to try and add some realism.

To all those having success, what level are you starting your saves at and has anyone had success starting as Sunday League?

I set mine as ex international, always. Don't think it is realistic that a sunday league players first job would be a manager of a pro football team.

i all ways star with sunday league on all my save i i have had no probs only thing is in the first season is with team talks no 1 says any thing then after 6 months or so thay start to say how thay feel

I smell FMRTE over that Rock Classic being #1, I've used it, so overrated.

This tactic is way better than your's so get off your high horse jealousy get's you nowhere

Never said mine was the best, oh the title? There for attention, but I did a similar test and it came 3rd last with the aforementioned tactics, so instead of getting personal, think with logic.

Mine didn't win the test either.
Funny how personal some people can get.

I just wish I had the knowledge to 'predict' the future.

Which position is responsible for the staging of the strategy of Rock Classic Tactic?

The vast majority on this thread will disagree completely with you. Best tactic out there in my opinion and I've tested most, including yours

I used yours for a full season with WBA and had all the correct players, staff, tactic fully fluid by the opening game and I finished a respectable 7th. I tested The Rock Classic with WBA and I won the league! And I certainly didn't use fmrte, I did a fair test. I have tested pretty much every tactic on this forum and the rock is by far the best. You told me not to comment on your thread, if I had nothing good to say, so you should prob take your own advice, because for the majority of people on this thread, your tactic is not as good as this one "literally" ;)

Maybe I'm wrong, but I tested it and it was a bit leaky at the back to say the least. Ah well. I can't actually be bothered to argue about what tactics best.

I'm sorry but that is total bull. I never actually said that.

Possibly not, but you were very cocky about it being literally the best, but seemed rather patronizing to anyone who questioned that statement, me being one. There is no need to argue about which is he best, for some yours will be, mostly with big clubs which most tactics are good with, but some people will find this one to be better, and in my case it's much better. I don't think anyone can say there is literally a best tactic and to do so is **** right arrogant and disrespectful to other tactic creators. Yours is decent but to me it's prob the 4th best I have tried.
