Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

This tactic has been fantastic for me! Thanks MR L, I shall post more screenshots at the end of the season. :-)​

hey mr.l, been following this for ages but havn't got round to trying it (as i wanted to start it on a new save).

im going to start a monaco save, but only sign french players, to make it a bit harder.

do you think with the current french players in the game aged 16-23 could make a full starting 11 and subs for this tactic that actually works?

also, i havn't used classic tactics before, is there a massive difference between the classic and TC version?

The difference isn't massive, but I still recommend going with the classic one. It's a bit higher scoring, and could make you win 1-0 instead of drawing 0-0 some games.

About players, I don't know too much about the french ones. Maybe there is some other thread somewhere about it :)

On the training note, I get some saying it's not heavy enough and some saying it's too heavy, but it doesn't seem to effect morale at all so I just ignore it.

I lost my save(6) Battery died while saving..... minutes after i deleted 4 or 5 saves. One of the best saves i had in my 12 years FM career. Won Championship with 103 pts., FA Cup and Community Shied with Leeds in the first season.

what type of players play in these positions mate? i normally play in normal mode so they have roles, would this be roughly what they are?

ST = complete forward attack
LM/RM = Wingers attack with left on left and right on right
CM's = CM attack (but more box to box type of player?)
CDM = DLP support
Standard back 4 and gk

is this right? as i have a few ball winning midfielders who cant really pass and also some attacking mids/playmakers that cant play on the wings.

How much difference does it make if the ML/MR positions are filled by players whose best position is AML/AMR instead of ML/MR?

The majority of wingers in the game seem to have AML/AMR as their preferred position rather than ML/MR

I can answer any question you might have here. And if I'm not online, the questions will probably be answered by others, as there are very few questions I haven't answered before. Maybe I should make a FAQ :P

You simply just train the AMR/AML players for the ML/MR position. Usually, they are at least yellow in that position, so it shouldn't take long to get to green. Natural takes longer, so it mostly just applies to your talents.
 
After 8 long years of squad building finished my Hartlepool career. Finally won the Champions League and the Premier League on the final season. This ofcourse means the english is career is going to be more predictable in the future. I resigned from the job and have now taken up a job in Liga Adelante mid table side Recreativo. Let's see if I can repeat the success over again. Please note that all 8 seasons from the humble beginning has seen the entire team based on the rock classic tactic !

PS. Rafa took over when I left.

I leave you with the trophy cabinet(which was previously blank) ! Won't say much, but this is of course with no cheats, no restarts etc.

mr l did that guy send you his rock tweek where he put the mrl mrr as aml amr and if so did you try it?

Yeah, but I haven't had time to test it yet. It is time consuming to do proper testing. I will do it when I have the time.
