Not very tactic dependant. But you can use the one from the OP.
 
just been having a play around with the rock moved the dm up to cm to make 3cm and moved the ml and mr upto aml and amr but left the setting as is and it looks like it is working very well still strong at the back and still scoring for fun

The rock works in so many different formations, it's crazy :)
 
Working on a new one already :) 4-4-2 Stonewall Attack! (Haven't decided 100% on the formation yet though. Considering 4-2-3-1 as well) High scoring stuff! But this one will require a lot of work, so won't be releasing this one in a while :) Enjoy the other new ones meanwhile :)

Great! I prefer formations that have 2 strikers. Best of luck mate, I know you will succed.

After the disappointing 15th league finished after winning the BPL i was again not doing so well so I resigned in december, the everton manager took my job I took his. Finished 10th with everton and Swansea finished 6th (I left them at 9th) then resigned with 6months of being appointed and Man City offered me the job. Into the end of november Swansea sacked their manager due to being near the relegation zone. I missed Swansea and my team also I was 3rd with Man city with 2 games in hand, so I decided to apply for a job with the swans again and got it. Left man city with 5-6 months lol. Saved them from relegation and finished 6th. First full season back I finished again 6th, then following season I finished 1st. Lets hope the 2nd season as defending champions goes better then the first lol. Oh i forgot to mention team talks are so important so guys dont always leave it to ur *** man try experimenting and getting the best out of it.

That's amazing! I hope you wıll be successful with 4-2-3-1. How much time do you need this tactic?

I don't think it's possible to make a 4-2-3-1 as good as the other latest ones I've made, at least not suitable for all teams. So will maybe make the tactic with a top team instead, and tell people only to use it for top teams.

I think you're after requesting you can make the best tactic. I'm on 4-2-3-1 tactic's side because no one that doesn't have such a tactic. There are those who succeed with 4-4-2 but 4-2-3-1 NO,unfortunately. But of course I respect your tactic decision.

The biggest reason why nobody can make a plug&play tactic using the Wide 4231, suiting a Range of teams, is because in real life there is no such tactic.
When looking at the "4231/451", teams change their formation to suit the circumstances.
  • Sometimes they play with DMC-DMC-M.C. using a dropped d-line playing rather defensive
  • Sometimes a DMC-MC-MC using a normal d-line letting the central mids spread direct balls into the flanks, using a variety of approaches.
  • Sometimes they use DMC-DMC-AMC when wanting to draw the opposition into them before launching attacks or when wanting to use a patient build using overlaps.
  • Sometimes they play a much more aggressive MC-MC-AMC, pushing up their whole team and pressing the opponent, overloading the opponents in advanced positions


If looking at a random team that uses 3 central mids in a "451", then theyuse atleast 2 of these different approaches and in many cases 3, all depending on what the manager feels is the best way to get a resul in the coming game.

In a flat 442/4411, its rather different. Here, the formation it self is not either attacking, cautious, balanced or defensive, like the different 451´s
