Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

No not about mentality.
As they say "you typically use a defensive or counter strategy and use quick counter attacking- Defending, whit some fitness."
on the general training.

Ah, training. I'm not really following what that site recommends. I just look at what stats the different training types give. And I found that the tactics training is really undervalued, as these stats are immense for the whole team.

OK i started a save whit the Rangers no signings, so right now i am using the 4-1-4-1 Rock TC whit some defensive/fitness on the general training and team work on the match preparation.

Win Serie B with Sassuolo, media prediction 13°
Tactic 2-5-3 V2
I use the same tactic for Serie A.. see you soon!

In regards to my regens i might leave them on a very high fitness regime for a full season, then go and switch between tactics/ball control.

Not sure how to get the best improvements but it should work...should

player filter

Mr Langvatn,
do you have a player filter for each role ??

Has anyone had success with 4-4-2 Arrigo Sacchi along with Mr. L's tactics (the Rock mainly)? I would love to use Arrigo Sacchi on home games and the Rock on away games, but it seems that there is some confusion within the team when changing on these tactics from game to game.

I thought Marking and Tackling were important in the 2-5-3 v2 which would rule them out.

It is, so if they have low tackling and marking, they won't be too good :) But anything over 10 is decent for DMCL and DMCR. I have Kroos in DMCL on my Bayern save, he is averaging over 8.0 after some defensive midfielder training.

They are probably too different, so they will get confused ye.

im struggling to find strikers that will fit this tactic (without breaking the bank)

because u use 3 strikers, your going to need 5 strikers or even 6.

its hard to find that many complete strikers. :(

Fierro/Ferreyra would be good. retrain a winger left and a winger right to ST to be backup right/left strikers. then you'll just need 3 complete strikers, 1 youngster for cups, and 2 retrained left/right wingers.

admittedly for a team with a lower budget you wont be "happy" until third season i'd wager
