Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Hey Mr Langvatn, when you tested my tactic did you change anything or did you use the original one ? :)
 
1 season with Rock Classic played with Exeter in league 2. Won the league comfortably.

Now the hard work begins, with signing players on a low budget to reach the championship next year.

Ja, er fin den rock classic :) Sliter hardt med å lage noe bedre, selv om jeg prøver hver eneste dag...
 
Did you scrap the 4-2-3-1 altogether? Was waiting for you to release an update on that.
 
i was using arrigo sacchhis tactic, but it was just to inconsistent, and i dont really like having 2cdm and no cm.

Should i use the rock tactic or the rock classic? anyway im using rock classic atm, and i am liverpool, i have lucas,lars bender, sven bender and gerrard, who and where should i play all 3? i also use coutinho and sterling and ademilson, are they good enough?

Yeah, for now. Will finish the testing I'm currently doing before I start making a new tactic.

Rock Classic is the strongest one, yeah. Lucas DMC at least, Gerrard CM, dunno bender. Coutinho is good as a left wing. Sterling and ademilson are quite weak the first season.

Actually, Falcao's tactic was made for 13.2.1 version so I doubt it would work well as it did at current 13.3.3.. (I'm korean |))
anyway.. very interesting approach, Mr. L !!
 
Another vote for the 4-1-4-1 Rock Classic tactic, playing as Celtic first season, League results as expected, but very impressed due to having beaten Real Madrid/Man C and Lille in the group stage of the Champions League.

What I particularly like about the tactic is that the goals have been spread between the striker and all of the midfield players with the centre backs adding a few from set pieces as well.
 
Ive been trying a few things out with rock classic. I'm running a few games with smaller sides to see the importance of match prep. I've noticed if you keep it the same throughout the season I always get the post Christmas dip in form whereas swapping from defence to attack movement keeps the dip from happening.

I see, thanks for the update. Keep up the good work and I'll keep waiting for a 4-2-3-1 tactic, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I should have mentioned, I'm in 2015 and Eto'o is "past his peak", so now I mainly rotate him with Fierro.

If someone has already tried the cold leagues with the ROCK, please let me know if it works for you.
