Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

I'm currently managing Man Utd, and am eager to try out your new 2-7-1 tactics. However, I see there are 2. Rock mix 2-7-1 and defence rock mix 2-7-1. If using Man Utd, which would you recommend me to use? And which 2-7-1 tactics will have more effectiveness if i use at away games against big guns like chelsea Barcelona and Munich?

I think the defensive version is better overall, but Man Utd doesn't have too many dmc's, so I doubt you have much choice, unless you can buy some quality ones.

Yup, spot on. I bought fellaini and gundogan to strengthen my midfield and before your 2-7-1 release, I used 3-6-1. But the superior goal difference in the 2-7-1 made me eager to try them. Anyway, is the a ddifferent between normal and tc version of the tactics?

I haven't tried the tc version, so I don't know :) I would suggest sticking to the non-tc version, as this is the one I have tested.

The defensive 2-7-1 is actually even higher scoring than the normal 2-7-1, and has a better defense too :)

Shall gave that a try later when I'm free! All the tactics are just immerse. Currently having 2-5-3 v2 as my first tactic, 4-1-4-1 rock classic follow by 2-7-1 defensive rock mix. Should work out well (:

First tactic has been tested in the new test format, the 2-5-3 Angels V2. Really not bad result considering all teams are 100% equally strong :)

Next tactic up for testing in the new format is the jassar/malte tweak of the Rock (4-4-2)!

You don't understand what? That I'm going to test the jassar/malte tweak in my test? I don't understand what's there to not understand :)

the tactic Silician Rock Mix is amazing

But I read that Defensive version is better? more goals and better defense?

You recommend change to Defensive?

According to the top team test, the defensive one has better goal difference, yeah. But in order to really determine which is best, I have to test them in my newest test format. Doing 1-2 tactic tests every day I think. Soon done with testing the second tactic.

Updated front page, after completing two tactic tests! Jassar/Malte's 4-4-2 tweak of the Rock is in the lead! Impressive :)

Using the tactic 2-7-1 Defensive Sicilian Rock Mix. I managed a draw with Borussia Dourtmond, for 1 x 1. Playing indoors. It is worth remembering that my team is the America Mineiro (Brazilian second Division)
