I disagree. Thankfully he looks like he will survive (obviously the main thing) but unfortunately for him, Bolton and England I don't think he'll play football again. But we shall see I guess (even doctors don't know yet)I reckon he'll be fine. There are few people on the planet who are, physically, better suited to having a heart attack. Whether he plays football again remains to be seen, but I have the kind of feeling he will.
Thierry Henry flew all the way to London from America to spend an hour with former Arsenal team-mate Fabrice Muamba
Even more of a Hero than he already was.
I'm doing a first aid course this week and my teacher has said that Fabrice Muamba is a one off. Well done to him for pulling through. Dead for 78 minutes, there can't be many people in the world that could have ever done that.
Yeah, he also told me that him being a super-fit athlete was probably the cause of it as well as the reason he's recovered. He said his body is probably so well tuned that one little thing that goes wrong can upset his entire system.
I think Mancini is right, players should be checked by doctors as many times as possible, I say at least 3-4 times a year is a must.
That wont make a difference if someone is suffering from cardiomyopathy. It is undetectable in heart scans or Ecg's. It is just an unfortunate heart disease to have. Thats what Marc Vivien-Foe died of.
