My best tactic for FM14

Ok cheers for the help appreciate it sorry for all the questions lol I do think this tactic will work with Southampton due to their squad bn strong in certain areas I.e full backs and central mid agree with u about the forwards tho weak think if I can get cover for lb,dm n maybe a new cd and daimao for upfront it would work wonders will try again Tomoz had enough today was ******* me off

haha no worries, yeah those would be ideal improvements to the squad mate, and damaio is a beast :D
I know how ya feel my first save was with southampton i used a tactic off this forum and beat spurs 3-0 opening game and thought yes this is gonna be awesome and got sacked after winning no more games haha. Alot of hard hours and failed seasons lead to me searching for guides etc which eventually got me to this tactic and enjoying fm again
 
Cheers ano its so frustrating this year trying to find something that works end up spending more time looking on forums etc than actually playing game the tactic I used for fm 13/14 don't work I think playing with no amr or aml is a must just doesn't work will defo try with this again tomorrow hopefully get back to enjoying it again. Would u recommend not signing a lot of players cause I think I need 6 new players. Can sell a good few n raise ???
 
aye its best not to sign too many, but if u are willing to grind out the first few months of a save it can be worth it to get the right players. i normally go for around 3 signing a season, and only sell what i dont need

Well I'm half way through my season now so I'll stick with the newer one until next season as I'm going well atm.

Soton deffo needs good CD's. I would recommend, Stefan Strandberg (Rosenborg), Loret Sadiku (Helsingborg) and Vegard Forren (Molde) are amazing options for low budget.

I signed balanta today for 6m also
But it did prevent me strengthening other areas,
Stillbeat man city 2-0 in my opening game
 
Just started a new Southampton save pre season went well winning all apart from 2 got beat off ath Madrid 4-2 n drew with vit setubal won first two league games 3-1 and 3-0 n won first game in league cup on pens (rested a lot of players) then lost 1-0 away to Liverpool just about to play arsenal away then have spurs at home :(. Is it wise to let my assistant to do my team talks cause I'm **** at them lol also when is ideal time to change from def positioning to attacking movement? I signed balanta for 7.25 Fernando for 4.2 khune for 450k and got dos santos on loan

Hey mate, good signings.
If your assistant manager has good attributes and motivation it can be good to let him do it if you do not know what to say, however he can choose " I have nothing important to say " following a nice 2-0 win against a mid table team which will result in a full red reaction from the squad.

It is important to change to attacking movement when you see yourself being rated as the favourate for most games, this is when teams will be playing defensively against you, and you will start to draw more games.

I think there is a team talk guide on here i will try to find it for you to look over :D
 
Cheers for that will have a look later what does op stand for lol? Drew 2-2 with arsenal at emirates came back from 2-0 down :) them got humped 4-1 off spurs at home defo doing something wrong with teamtalks i think

Those are just unfortunate results mate, I admire your perseverance, alot of people would have dubbed the tactic as **** and moved on to one of the tactics being spammed by now xD
 
Kwl nah mate I think it will work well with team I have just need to keep goin with it I think a new forward us a must tho miss so many clear cut chances. I've not downloaded it just copied everything from screenshots do u think that would have a bearing on how it works. Yeah was happy with arsenal result especially bn 2-0 down with 30 mins to go and I think spurs game I just maybe picked wrong team n said wrong thing in team talks

if u got all the details the same it wont affect it, there is only individual instructions on keeper, which are tackle harder, pass shorter and distribute to defenders.
Also the set pieces are just a general set up atm, if you can set them up to be more effective then it will only give better results

forgot to mention i signed a 21 year old called rascaldani i think, im gonna try get him developed, jay rodriguez scored my 2 against man city
