My best tactic for FM14

Hey Callamity, great tactic! Have been following the thread from very early and have been inspired after reading some stories to play on fmc (I love the ability to push through a season so quickly! although I do wish it had a few more features from the main game). Being a Melbourne lad I took over Melbourne Heart and have won the league 5 times (2nd in first season after a slow start), won the finals series all 6 seasons and have won the Asian champions league 3 times running! I have become an icon at the club and have some amazing young Aussies leading the charge. I would love to continue to develop them at the club but also think I am due to take over a bigger European club. Either way, thanks for a a great tactic mate, made my FM experience a lot more enjoyable!

I'm currently playing with Killymoon Rangers from Northern Ireland. In my first season I had just one loss in the league. The second season I managed to win a promotion to the NIFL Premiership and hoping to just stay clear of relegation in my third season, I actually managed to win the cup and finish second just two points behind the leader, I actually led half the season!

In my fourth season, got a very nasty draw in UEFA Europa League against AB from Denmark, but to my surprise I managed to get past them. Then I defeated Valur from Iceland and got knocked out after a 3:0 win away against Panathinaikos and an incredibly unlucky 0:4 loss at home (I actually had more shot at goal than them). I signed a new striker who scored 4 goals in his debut in the league in a 5:0 win. An incredible start of the season and $600,000 made from Europa League, twice my revenues for last season. With a team composed of the same players as last season, I was certain winning the title would be a breeze, but with almost half the season gone, I'm barely hanging on to 4th position some 15 points away from the leaders and I'm having spells of 5-6 games without a win. Does anyone have an idea what is happening? I was playing like a champ against teams from Europe but I can't win against the much weaker local teams :(
 
Battling with Chelsea for second place in late December, people are starting to take Nottingham Forest seriously now. Only question about this wonderful tactic is whether an anchor man is used? Seems to be set as a defensive midfielder when I downloaded it and I've searched the thread to vverify but alas, this thread is very long.

It ha. Been updated to a dmc mate, and fullbacks, I will be updating the OP once uni work is done :)
 
Thanks callamity, only started this tactic properly over the weekend so I'm still playing catchup. Only teams I've lost to are man u in the first game, city away although we beat them away in the cup, and Fulham which I'm still trying to explain. Look forward to tweaks.
 
8 prem games into the first season with spurs. im gonna try this tactic out and let you know how it turns out :)
 
WHAT A TACTIC! I just got the job at ROMA and decided to go with this tactic and look at my preseason! My team plays great with it.

Has this tactic got a player filter? Also it it solid in defending Set pieces, i.e corners/Free kicks?

Also is it correct that this tactic has NO player instructions at all? Not one player......

Player filter is in construction, defending set pieces are as on jassar thread on post 3,
The only player instructions are on goalkeeper for distribution and aggression

I am halfway throughout the season...and havent yet conceded from corner...and conceded only 2 goals from dfk.

I downloaded original posts tactic link. Is that still the most current including the set piece set ups?

So does this tactic include a corner exploit? Is it any good from actual open play?

As far as I'm aware there is no exploit in 14.1.4, far post corners are slightly stronger than the rest for the time being. As for from open play you will need to try it and see, or you can read through the thread and see what others have said about the football played :)
 
Any idea why I had such a bad season all of a sudden in Northern Ireland? The first three seasons were fine
