My Huge Tactics Testing Project!!!

:P thinking of using yours and few others for the testing.. waiting for recommendations..
anyway, is the V3 your best version?
 
looking forward to this! yeah, those are the two best teams per league, except City I would suggest either Chelsea or Arsenal instead!
 
Its started. I chose one version for each tactic. Hopefully its their best version. I rename the tactic to the creator to avoid confusion. This is going to take a very long time. I will post update whenever there is a significant progress.

i think version 1 is the best version to be honest

on a side note, ive done holiday testing with my tactic before and its nowhere near as good. seems like u have to be in charge yourself for it to work properly

yea, I'm going to use yours.. I was thinking to use the V3.. which one is your version 1? I got three of your tactics.. what did you name it?
true, testing by going to holiday is not proving anything, I tried it few times before..
its going to be time consuming, but I'm excited about it..

i think it might be called Barca 442 V Fluid

so does that mean you're playing as every team or are you holidaying?

no holidays, but its going to be plug and play thou..
 
i dont really understand what plug and play does cause ive never used it....but ok!!!

I meant there will be minimum (or no) adjustment.. I wont do shouts, team talk etc.. I'll leave them all to ast mngr..
I wont be buying new player either.. thats why I chose strong teams.. any good tactic will work with this kinda teams..
 
me too! how exactly are you going to play every game? what is the plan?

i think certain formations wont work for teams who dont have those kind of players

for example a 442 probably wouldnt work too well for the likes of AC Milan who only really have midfielders who play centrally

i think you'll have to make sure the tactic fits the team for it to work properly
 
well, let see, after starting a new game ( 4 leagues, 2 teams each league).. I plug the tactics, e.g. man utd (goals galore) and man city (il devasto).. I'll let the ast mngr set and control the friendlies.. once the season start I (or my staff) pick the team and go to match..
the matches, however, is going to be in 'match commentary mode' only.. my project will finish in 2012 if I'm going to watch the highlights/goals..
other things such as team talk, shout, handled by ast mngr..
 
And my the time you finish testing 8 tactic's FM2012 will be out lol

I do notice that.. tactic creators listing 'requirements' for their tactic to work.. but that's the whole point of this testing.. I want to see which tactic is the most flexible.. maintaining its efficiency regardless the type of team/league they are playing.. anyway each tactic gain fair advantage by plugging it in strong teams..

at the end of this testing I wont be saying 'this is the best tactic in FM 11' but rather 'this is one of the most independent tactic in FM 11'..

haha.. yeah, I know.. but if I'm excited about it, it would go faster..
earlier, I tested il devasto versions (4 teams in 4 leagues), i finished one season in 3 days..
as I said this is for personal interest, it would be done eventually.. |)

sure thing.. it would be in the waiting list though.. will eliminate 4 tactics after one season..
btw, in that thread you said ''..following on from the success of my first tactic upload..''.. which one is better? I just want to test 1 version for each tactic/creator..
 
My first tactic I recommended a few days ago. Steve*'s 5-3-2 beautiful game. I would prefer you try the 4-2-3-1 as it is a more dominating tactic and has been tested thoroughly by a few trusted people on the site. Also works as well for smaller teams. Would just like to see it compared to other tactics :)
