My Man Utd in Patch 12.0.4

I have a problem. After i install a new 12.1.0 patch i lose 5games for 7 games! Meybe my team have a bad form or meybe this tactic doesn't work with new patch?

Wow! That's great man. You try it with Tottenham and I loved so much your achievement. Thanks for using my tactic. :-) What is gz? hehe..yeah, I know, the defense concede more goals with that tactic. We all know that the attacking tactic will score more goals but also will concede more goals. To overcome this, I try to make 4-2-3-1 with Tottenham and the result is very good for defense line.You could try change from mar marking to zonal marking and I will update the result when I finish tested with Man Utd in new patch. Then, we will see if it success or not.

Which team do you played? I will test it with Man Utd in new patch and will update the result later.

Gz is short for congratulations :) Right, ill try the zonal marking, might work. Also, im about to test the 4-2-3-1 tact aswell! : )
 
Might sound stupid so apologies...it won't work! It doesn't come up in the tactics o the game once I've downloaded it. So I'm doing it all manually.....what did you do for corners/free kicks for Vidic to score so many?

Also, tried it with Forest in the Championship (set pieces excluded) - stormed the league and won the League Cup!
 
Great tactic. Works out very well. Getting some very pleasing results.
Only thing is i receive an insane amount of yellow cards, any of you have the same problem?

I am also using your tactic. It's a **** of a good tactic!
But I have a question.

I am also Manchester United and I won all my 10 competitions games so far. Even in the league, FA and Championsleague cup won all my games so far. Only I got after 10 games just scored 28 goals and conceded 3.

How can I score more goals? Because I see some picture off some managers here and they scored by 15 games all ready 58 goals. I got only half.

Here a picture off my line-up. Hernandez isn't still impressive enough. I want also that hernandez scored above the 40+

I know there are two players injured at the picture: Young and Rooney. But they can be replaced by Lavezzi and Welback/Berbatov
 
Been using this in my Man Utd save. Very good so far.

Beat Man City in the Community Shield 4-3, they had an early penalty and Ferdinand did a dodgy back pass to De Gea which Balotelli intercepted. Valencia and Rooney scored 2 goals each. Beat Bolton 1-0 in first game of the season, Rooney scored, Vidic had two corner chances cleared off the line! Also worth noting that Hernandez got injured in pre-season, another month before he is fully fit sadly, I've used Welbeck in his place so far. Would you recommend perhaps using Rooney as the poacher and Berbatov as the complete forward? So basically Rooney in Hernandez's role and Berbatov in Rooney's usual role.

Also, just wondering here. How does Nani do for you?

Edit: beat Tottenham 4-2, played well. But here's the really good news. I beat Man City 6-0 whilst playing away! Vidic got two from corners, Valencia was again on fire, Rooney and Welbeck also scored.

im looking at buying new players who would be ideal and who would be good replacments / need replacing ???
 
wth!!!! just tried this tactic in few games, the results have been super awesome....

chance become a goal from corner kick increased significantly!!

this tactic is really great!! love it!!

Thank you sir for such a great tactic. Worked wonders for the 1st two season, but..

Things got horribly wrong in the third season.. The defence suddenly leaked a LOT of goals, the strikers started to resort to unrealistic long shots from goal, and as a result, I started to lose a lot of games. This has continued well into the 4th season, where away from home especially, the defence has been ripped to shred time and time again. Tried tweaking the tactic to rectify this, but to no avail.

Perhaps we can discuss how to improve this tactic, especially away from home against skilful opponents?

From my experience I'd say yes. Although I wouldn't expect to get exactly the same results as the OP did from playing with the previous patch, I've found over the years with FM games that a successful tactic in the first patch won't always be as good in later patches.
 
I'm allmost at the finish of the season with Man city and i'm very impressed:D
Kicked out the league cup in 1st round against blackpool and out of the fa cup against chelsea,but not blowed away
In the competition i'm 1st with 89points after 32matches
123goals and 28conceded,lost 1match against arsenal
I'm still in the champions league,in knock out round i won against dortmund 10-2 in 2matches and won against chelsea

all by all this is a very good tactic,i highly recommend this one

Will this tactic also work if I use the AMR as winger? I wanted to test this tactic with Sevilla, but I don't want to drop Navas

Why not try Navas in the AMR inside forward role?

I didn't think Valencia or Nani would do well in the role with this tactic but they did.
