raymond domenech is a **** for leaving him out for the world cup team :)
 
I am going to be sceptical of this source because it is from Goal.com and, therefore, won't believe it until confirmed in more reliable sources.

If true, congratulations. Deserved for him.
 
Well deserved, most of their other players are overrated or c***s. Nasri's a great player who I've always liked and his talent is coming through now. Only other contender for the award I can think of is Patrice Evra, other than that there really was no competition... Maybe Lloris?

Richly deserved. He's a fine player indeed.
 
Couldn't think of anyone else who would deserve it ahead of him.

Anyone involved in their world cup walkout had zero chance of winning this award. Especially not the captain who's still serving a ban for his part in it.

You really think after what Evra did at the World Cup he'd get close to French footballer of the year? Nasri's form anyway atm is better than Evra's.
 
Pretty sure he was joking when he said Evra.
