I score a lot from crosses and the tact is similar to yours.
I have through balls and run from deep marked as often + Cross aim set as mixed.

oneunited: If you need more goals maybe it's because your forwards have to much creative freedom.

I have one other question here to make: Away tactical approach. I win every hard game at home with expressive wins, but away I have a real hard time.

I'm playing with 11.2.1 patch and my players miss lots of goals in front of the goalkeeper ( like 6 per game) but opposite team scores almost all the chances in front of the goalkeeper. I need help. Im almost givin' up on fm 11. I have world class team with terrific strikers (finishing = 18)

This happens to me as well.. There's not much you can do and I think it's a sort of bug / problem with the Match Engine but try to teach your strikers 'go round keeper' and 'place shot'

I think I have finally made a good tactics for my Chelsea side, the only problem is that the lads don't play constantly good. Sometimes they win 5:0. but sometimes they are struggling to score only one goal. I'm in pre-season now and I have ****** opponents which I should win with 5 goals margin. The tactics has following settings:

GK - sweepeer keeper defend
DL - full back attack
DCL - central defender stopper
DCR - central defender cover
DR - full back support
MCL - deep-lying playmaker support
MCR - ball winning midfielder defend
AML - winger support
AMC - attacking midfielder support
AMR - winger support
ST - complete forward attack
