28TH AUGUST

View attachment 234095 "Good morning and welcome to goals on Sunday, in a moment we will be speaking with special guest Chelsea manager Richard Fletcher, but first lets have a look at all of yesterdays results and how they effected the table -

View attachment 234095View attachment 234098 "Right yesterday saw Chelsea travel to Loftus road were they beat QPR 5-1, Manager Richard Fletcher joins us now, Richard Good morning"

View attachment 234099 "Good morning Ian, good morning Chris"

View attachment 234098 "Richard 5-1 against your rivals, second in the league, Its easy this management business aint it??"

View attachment 234099 "laughs" "Ask me at the end of May Kammie, but seriously we are pleased with the start the clubs made"

View attachment 234095 "Juan Mata cant stop scoring at the minute, how pleased with him are you and whats the secret to your early success,?? 8 goals in only 3 games and only high spending Manchester City ahead of you"

View attachment 234099"Juan has been great, my only concern from the past is he tends to have ups and downs in his form, I think its important we keep him fresh to avoid burn out later on, Well so far it looks good, I have a feeling about this tactic, We changed the high line back to sit a touch deeper and have instructed the players to play at a slightly slower tempo, this has resulted in retaining possession and not shooting all the time, instead we build up play and seem to have more CCC`s and hit the target"

View attachment 234098"Richard 5 more goals yesterday but still Fernando Torres isnt off the mark this season, given his record pre and post joining Chelsea surely a time will come when you cant continue to wait for his goals??", "Here we have his stats -

TOTAL GAMES TOTAL GOALS

Liverpool - 142 81

Chelsea - 21 1

View attachment 234099"Fernando must be the most talked about player in the world!! His link up play and movement have been great for me so far, those stats on paper are awful for someone of his quality, but in my opinion Carlo and Andre both made mistakes regarding Fernando, firstly he never should have played VS Liverpool for his debut, that knocked him back as did Carlo`s insistence on substituting him weekly! Andre should have made him the main man and not added the pressure of Didier`s shadow to the price tag"

CLUB OFFICIAL - "Good evening, welcome to a late night special presentation here at CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB, In a moment manager Richard Fletcher will be answering your questions but first we are pleased to present new Signing ANDRE AYEW"

THE MIRROR - "Hi Richard, yet again not the signing we expected, were is Adam Johnson??"

R.FLETCHER - "Hello, yes the club tried to sign Adam, many of you would have seen him in London today, the club and Adam agreed terms and were very happy but Man City rejected our offer"

THE MIRROR - "So Andre is your second choice, what was the problem with the offer for Adam?"

R.FLETCHER - "No, Andre was also a target, the fans of Chelsea have a history of excitement on deadline day and Andre is this years man, Man City rejected 3 good offers, in the end they priced Adam out of a move he wanted and needs, he is yet to feature at all this season and is like a Ferrari locked in the garage"

TALK SPORT - "So another youngster in Andre at 21 then, also can you confirm the reported OPERATION SLINGER is complete??"

R.FLETCHER - "Yes as is the policy, he`s already scored 3 in 5 games this season and offers versatility on the wing or as the striker, Yes OPERATION SLINGER was code for WINGER, also to confirm it was a £15million pound swoop, expensive as Mareilles had a minimal release clause"

PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURE #4

Chelsea made it 3 straight wins in a row and remained undefeated this season at the expense of a brave Stoke side.

Ramires in the middle of the pitch was the star man, winning tackles, creating the play and displaying fantastic energy, It was the man from Rio who set up the opener on 27 minutes with a run and pass into the box where FERNANDO TORRES finally opened his seasons account with a cool finish.

Chelsea were up and running and had numerous chances to double there advantage before half time, Torres,Sturridge and Ramires all missed good chances and at the break it was still only 1-nil.

The second half in South West 6 began as the first had ended, Chelsea on the attack and dominating possession, Sorensen in the potters goal was having a fine game and continued to frustrate the hosts.

A dark cloud then fell over the Stamford Bridge faithfull as goal scorer Torres pulled up with a hamstring injury on the hour mark, The locals rose to applaud the world cup winner off the pitch as Sturridge moved into the number 9 role from out wide.

New signing Ayew was the man to replace Torres and he showed promise from the left side in his 30 minute cameo appearance.

Stoke only testeed the Chelsea keeper with 1 shot on target all game, Courtois dealt well with a Crouch header on 75mins.

They left it late but finally Chelsea got the second goal in stoppage time, A well worked counter involving Bertrand and Ramires sent Kalou in on goal, The Ivorian un-selfishly laid the ball for Sturridge to mark his first appearance this season with a goal.

The early signs are looking good for Chelsea who temporarily sit top of the division and have conceded just 2 in 4 games now, but Fletcher will be well aware much tougher challenges lie ahead.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDAY #1

Few heads were turned in Belarus tonight as Chelsea produced a dominant display on there way to a 3-nil victory in front of a small but noisy home support.

Fletcher`s men made the perfect start to their European campaign with Playmaker Ramires yet again the man of the match.

When Mata was injured last month blues fans feared the loss of a player on top form, but since then Ramires has filled the gap with both goals and assists, his 3rd of the season coming on 39mins to give Chelsea a much deserved lead at half time.

Kalou has also impressed recently, he made it 2-nil early in the second half and his manager will hope he can continue this good start to his season, That man Ramires was again the provider.

The visitors domination was shown by the fact they received more bookings in the match (3), Than the hosts had shots on goal (2), Ayew completed the rout on 65minutes with a close range tap in, his first in Chelsea blue.

Despite a growing injury list and apparent lack of experience Chelsea continue to score goals and keep clean sheets.

PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURE #5

Norwich defied the odds today to shock in form Chelsea at Carrow Road.

The blues arrived in East Anglia undefeated both at home and in europe and named a strong team, Norwich were missing 3 first team regulars but fans favorite HOLT gave them the lead on 39 minutes from close range.

Chelsea had been the better team but had been limited to long range efforts, at the break it was 1-nil.

As expected the blues roared out of the traps for the second half, creating some good if not lots of chances. Sturridge and Kalou going closest.

On the hour mark Daniel Sturridge was replaced by LUKAKU for fresh legs, Chelsea also looked to play more fluid football than balanced but still failed to beat keeper RUDDY.

Into the last minutes and Chelsea were caught on the break, striker MORISON had the easy task of finishing a swift counter attack on 88mins.

Norwich will remember a famous victory in the quest for survival, Chelsea slip behind Arsenal into 4th place and will want to bounce back asap.

21/9/11 LEAGUE CUP ROUND #3

Chelsea are back to winning ways after a straight forward 2-nil victory at home to Reading tonight.

Manager fletcher played a strong team only making 3 changes, 1 of which was forced due to player fatigue.

Pre-match Nathan Ake was hyped up as the 16 year old was making his debut, He didn`t disapoint the 37,000 strong crowd, Gaining a 7.0 raing on way to a Chelsea clean sheet, Ake match team mate Luiz for performance.

The scoring was over by the 5th minute, firstly Sturridge meeting a Bertrand cross on just 2mins then Kalou set Sturridge away for 2 nil on 5 minutes, a great start by the Hosts.

The rests of the match saw Chelsea boss the chances and possesion and Reading failed to trouble keeper Courtous in the Chelsea net.Tougher games lie ahead of Chelsea if they are to reach the Wembley final, Full time here 2-nil and easy for the chels.

friday press conference @ Stamford Bridge
TIME:12:00hrs

Good afternoon and welcome to Chelsea football club, MR Fletcher is pleased to answer your questions ahead of tomorrows match against Wolverhampton -

THE MIRROR - "A busy month continues for your side tomorrow Richard, what shape are your players in?"

R.FLETCHER - "Good afternoon, Well I think we need to pay tribute to our fantastic physio and coaching team here, Yes weve been busy and having a small squad has only worked due to there efforts looking after the players. Juan, Fernando, Mikel Obi and now Piazon are out injured but the rest of the squad look in top condition"

THE MIRROR - "That was a strong side you played against Reading in the cup, did you not trust the reserves?"

R.FLETCHER - "The league cup is a competition I want to win, With Man City and Liverpool out we have a great chance, Hence the strong line up, those who featured were great"

TALK SPORT - "At half time you subbed Luiz for Young Chalobah, leaving him and Ake at the heart of defense, they looked good most people wathcing the game said"

R.FLETCHER - "Yes, at 2-nil it was a calculated risk, they both played great I was very pleased and the fans enjoyed seeing them in action, Nath Chalobah will be a star I have no doubt for Chelsea and England, Nat Ake can be just as good if things go right, but they both need minutes on the pitch often!"

THE SUN - "Reports are John Terry is set to issue a public apology for his outburst in Twitter, considering his talent and remorse will he be back in contention??"

R.FLETCHER - "NO COMMENT"

View attachment 235636@JT26CHELSEA - "Would like to express my appologies to manager Richard Fletcher for my past statements, The manager is doing a good job with the lads and has a clear vision for Chelsea, I had the chance to be part of it but got the hump when he sold Frankie and Ash. I now realise how wrong I was and will do all I can to get back in the first team"

View attachment 235638View attachment 235639 TERRY - "IM SORRY"

John Terry today issued a public appology for his rantings at Chelsea boss Richard FLetcher.
Fletcher who previously described him as FINISHED at Chelsea is yet to respond to the comments.
