Hi, Are here again.
After taking an overnight-flight to Mexico City, I managed to catch a game between Pachuca and Monterrey, which Pachuca won 3-1.
Especially Pachuca's right side was very impressive, and all their goals came from good work down that side. I have previously looked at a couple of their players, and they really seem to be improving well. A couple of youngsters also impressed me, that I haven't seen before, so I decided to add them to my report.
Firstly the two players I've seen as teenagers:
Jürgen Damm is a classical right winger. He has got good pace, he is a good dribbler and he can cross the ball very well. He is also a hard worker and has got good stamina. At only 21, he also has time to improve. As a bonus, he's half German, so he won't need to apply for a work permit. He assisted two of the goals in the 3-1 drabbing of Monterrey.

The second player I've followed for some time is striker Christian Penilla. He is a complete forward that can do it all along the front line. He might not be a target at this time, due to Lacazette coming in, but he is well worth keeping an eye on for later. I believe he has got fantastic all-round capabilities, as he showed in the game, scoring a thumping header as well as a brilliant placed finish. As he has made his full debut for Ecuador, he should get a work permit.

Some new talents also caught my eye, so I'll give a brief overview of three of them:
Rodolfo Pizarro completely dominated the right wing-back position, and assisted the final goal for Pachuca. He is only 20, so I predict a great future for him. Truly someone to keep an eye on. He looked extremely fit, and kept working up and down the right, helping Damm out offensively the whole game. He could also beat a man, and cross very well.

Hirving Lozano came on for Pachuca for the last 20 minutes, and also played a big part on the right wing. He scored the final goal, and generally looked very lively. At only 18, he is really someone to watch. A quick dribbler, as well as an able crosser, I can see him being a future star.

Despite them being beaten, I saw some quality in one of Monterrey's players. That player was Edwin Cardona. He played in the AMC position, and kept drifting out wide, creating havoc on the ball. He showed some very nice touches, and kept playing very dangerous passes that created a lot of chances for an inefficient striker. He scored the best goal of the game with a thumping free-kick from 30 yards. He has already got a couple of caps for Colombia, so bigger clubs might well come calling soon.

Now I'm off to bed, will take a look at Chivas vs Santos Laguna tomorrow. Barely managed to close an eye on the flight, as I was sitting next to two screaming kids and their shouting mother. What kind of country doesn't have business-class >_<. One thing is for sure, I'm never flying AirMexicoco again.
Burheim out!
