All in all I'm quite pleased with how the pre-season games have gone.

Lukaku missed a penalty, Cavani picked up an injury which rules him out for up to 3 months.
The draw for the league cup has pitted us away to Everton, where as the champion's League group stages were also drawn: Chelsea, Shakhtar, Fenerbache and Schalke. So not a easy draw really but we should progress through both cups. A couple of signings worth mentioning, I made a slight one-off on my game plan of selling old and buying young by signing Carlos Tevez as he only cost me £5.25m he will be the only over 25 player I will be buying though. other transfers include, 16 year old centre midfielder Tomas who i signed from At Madrid for £3m and 17 year old central defender Ramiro from Real Madrid for £1.6m, both Spanish players and future internationals. Going out was Michael Essien who I totally forgot was still with us lol so i shipped him out to Wolves for £3.4 m and also Ross Turnbull left for Burnley for £1.9m. I also let a lot of players go out on loan to gain 1st team experience.

thanks, i haven't used him much in the 1st 2 seasons but he will be getting more game time in the coming season.

A disastrous month for us especially in the league, I decided to change my tactics for this season with arrival of Tevez, I changed to a 4-4-2 with two wingers making it a 4-2-4 when attacking but as you can see it hasn't paid off. The draw for the league cup has given us another away trip, this time to London road to take on Peterborough from the N Power championship so this could be a chance for some of my youngsters to show me what they can do.
