Mr Drezzy rejects Arsenal

There was dismay in North London today as they thought they had secured Mr Drezzy as their manager for next season, but at the last moment, Mr Drezzy rejected their contract and he will stay on a Palermo boss​

Before​

Palermo were on a high after defeating Real Madrid and Napoli were stuttering in the league.

After​

Palermo were off to a flying start, and when they went 2-0 up in 20 minutes, the result was never in doubt. Sanchez even scored his first goal for Palermo in this 3-1 romp of Napoli

really enjoying managing Palermo, and Arsenal aren't in Europe this season and are currently 8th in the league, so i doubt they'll be in Europe next year

UEFA Champions League 1st Knockout round summary and Quarter Final draw

In the first knockout round, Chelsea eased past Ajax 5-1 on aggregate, after winning 3-1 in Amsterdam and a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
In the game of the tie, Palermo knocked out Real Madrid 12-9 on aggregate after a superb 6-3 victory in the second leg. the 6-6 draw in Madrid is being touted as one of the best games ever
Juventus slumped out as Barcelona won both games 2-0.
Lille were unlucky against FC Bayern, going out 3-1 on aggregate.
Manchester United eased through with a very good 7-3 aggregate victory over Italians Udinese
Manchestery City were lucky to knock Sporting CP out, winning 2-1 at Eastlands and a 0-0 draw in Portugal.
Inter Milan are through to the quarter finals after drawing 0-0 with Tottenham in Milan, and then drawing 1-1 at White Hart Lane. They go through on the away goal.
And finally, after a 1-1 draw in Paris, PSG won the way game in Greece 3-1, knocking Panathinaikos out 4-2 on aggregate.

Before
Atalanta were having a decent season, and look like they've managed to escape the relegation dog fight. But Palermo were still on a roll and wanted it to continue today.

After​

The game wasn't very eventful but Palermo's superior finishing helped them to a 2-0 win, Sanchez scoring his second for the club and Llorente scoring again

Mr Drezzy demanded a win today, saying that Palermo could not lose to their rivals, Catania.

After​

Catania payed a heavy price for trying to constantly attacking Palermo today. A superb hat trick from Hernandez saw Palermo on their way to a brutal 6-1 win

Defending Serie A champions, Palermo, today clinched the trophy again, after beating Catania 6-1. Palermo have won every game this season and still have hopes for the Coppa Italia and the Champions Leage​

Before​

Palermo had a tough home tie with FC Bayern today, their main goal was to stop them scoring.

After​

This was a very tight match, but Lukaku managed to break through a stern Bayern defence to score the opener on 15 minutes, a 10 yard placed shot. Coming towards the end of the match, Robben was stretchered off injured, to the relief of Palermo. He had torn their right wing to shreds. Just after he was taken off, Lukaku headed Palermo into a 2 goal lead, after a cross from Piatti.
FC Bayern picked up their game in the second half, with Ribery curling in a free kick, leaving DeGea routed to the spot. But Palermo managed to hold on and take a slender 2-1 lead to Munich

Before​

Even though Palermo had already won the league, there were still expected to beat a weak Cesena side.

After​

Palermo cruised to victory today, but at a cost. Llorente headed home on 6 minutes and Sakho made it 2-0 with an identical goal on 39 minutes.
How ever, Palermo lost Piatti and Hazard to injury, both limping off in the second half. Cassani, Balzaretti, ilicic, and Galeano all completed the game, but have been described as walking wounded.

Palermo took a slender 1 goal lead to Munchen, but the Germans had an away goal.

After​

Another classic game, but it was one in which FC Bayern dominated most of the match, especially in the first half, They out played Palermo and equalised on aggregate when Olic blasted home on 11 minutes.
Then Thomas Muller juggled the ball from Midfield, before placing the ball through DeGea's leg to give Bayern a 2-0 lead, 3-2 on Aggregate. Palermo were stunned, and Olic took advantage scoring a volley from 15 yards out, 3-0 on the night and 4-2 on aggregate.
Palermo managed to get to the break without conceding, and in the second half, Llorente scored on 55 minutes with a powerful right foot shot. 3-1 on the night, 4-3 on aggregate. And then Llorente stunned the home crowd with a superb header inside the area, converting a Eden Hazard cross. 4-4 and on Aggregate, 3-2 on the night. If it stays this way, Palermo go through.
But 2 minutes later, Ribery scored from close range to send the Bayern fans into raptures. Bayern continued to attack, looking to kill off any Palermo come back. As the 4th official lifted the 2 minutes added time sign, Bayern players started to celebrate, but Hazard broke free, took out 2 defenders with his pass which bobbled in front of Llorente. It bounced once and the keeper came rushing out, Llorente stuck his right foot out, connecting with the ball, and sending it over the keeper. 4-3 on the night, 5-5 on aggregate. Llorente had scored his hat trick and there was no time for Bayern to reply, Palermo through on away goals

UEFA Champions League Quarter Final round up and Semi Final Draw

Manchester City delighted fans as they qualified for their first ever Champions League Semi final with a 2-0 aggregate win over English rivals Chelsea, winning both legs 1-0. With this win, they will play Palermo in the Semi Finals, with every one in the blue half of Manchester looking for revenge after last years Europa League final
Palermo won a thrilling tie with Bayern Munchen, winning on away goals after Llorente scored Palermo's 3rd of the night just before stoppage time.
Barcelona are through, after they easily disposed of French Champions PSG, winning 4-0 in Paris and 3-0 at home.
And finally, After drawing 0-0 at the San Siro, Inter Milan knocked out Manchester United after winning 2-1.

Palermo eased their way through this match, not breaking a sweat, whilst Parma looked terrible. It will take a miracle for them to survive the drop

Palermo had it all to do today as they needed to score a goal, and keep the lead if they had any hope of reaching the finals.

After​

Palermo were delighted with there start, as Hazard rifled a free kick home from 28 yards out. But Palermo's task was made alot harder when Goian was sent off for brining Mutu down with a two footed tackle. But Palermo held on for the first half.
In the second, Fiorentina made their advantage count when Agyei used his skill to tap the ball home. Fiorentina were going through on away goals, but Llorente had different ideas, and he ran and ran with the ball, before smashing the ball past Frey to give Palermo a 2-1 lead on the night and cancelling Fiorentina's away goals. But Palermo had to hold on, when Cassani was sent off on 88 minutes for a second yellow. Palermo were down to nine men, but they managed to survive a 4 minute on slaught from Fiorentina to book their second final appearance in as many years

Coppa Italia Round up and Final Draw

Palermo managed to get past Fiorentina, despite going down to 9 men in the 2nd leg. They win 4-3 on aggregate. In the other Semi Final, after a 1-1 draw in Udinese, Inter Milan snatched a 1-0 win in the San Siro, but Udinese will feel angry that they had 2 penalties turned down.

Before
Palermo had a tricky tie away at Genoa today, but Mr Drezzy thought it would be a good idea to rest a few players.

After​

Genoa had nothing to play for now, they had no chance of qualifying for Europe next season, and they were safely away from a Relegation dog fight. And Palermo were already champions, so the game in itself was poor. Jankovic scored 4 minutes from time to give Genoa a likely win but Lukaku headed home just before injury time. Both sides seemed to settle for a draw until Lukaku was hacked down on the edge of the area, and from the resulting free kick, Sanchez scored in the death, from the resulting free kick. A stunning win from a below par Palermo today
