But in the second half, with the arrival of returning Pastore, Palermo were a different side, tearing Sampdoria's defence to pieces. They ended up putting 5 past Sampdoria, which surprised alot of people, with Kadlec looking good on the left wing and Lukaku looking better every game

After
Mr Drezzy was stunned by Roma's negative approach to the game today, which saw Palermo take a 2-1 unlikely lead into the break. Mr Drezzy then took a risk, he told his players to keep attacking, hoping that Roma would stay defensive minded. And his gamble payed off as Roma were happy to sit back, and in the end, Palermo run out 7-2 winner

Before
Palermo have been in stunning form over the past few weeks, and aimed to try and get a draw in Milan.

After
For the first 14 minutes, A.C Milan totally dominated Palermo, but a poor decision by Abbiati probably cost Milan the game. The took out Piatti in the box conceding a penalty and receiving a red card, with Lukaku smashing the penalty past Nesta.
Milan hadn't named a goal keeper on the substitute bench before the game, so Nesta had to go in goal. Even though Milan mastered the game, Palermo took pot shots when they could, running out surprise 6-2 winners. On a down note, Pastore was injured in the second half

Kaka to return to Milan?

kaka.jpg

Rumours are rife in this January transfer window, as it has been leaked that Kaka's agents has touted his client to A.C Milan.
It has also been leaked that Kaka has been offered to Juventus, Napoli, Palermo, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Considering the players wages, it is more likely that, if he is to go, he would probably chose to play in England, how ever, Rumours are that A.C Milan, Inter Milan and Palermo are going to put in loan offers for the world class midfielder

Some great updates, and it is good to see a story where not everything has gone to plan, but you've stuck at it and got some fantastic results. And it would be great if you could get Kaka in.

Before
After some brilliant results in Europe and the league, Palermo welcomed Bari to the Renzo Barbera today. Mr drezzy felt that Bari wouldn't be able to cope with his budding stars.

After
Palermo were stunned today, with a result that reminded them of a couple of months ago. But Palermo's performance was good, Bari's defence was just alot better. Bari rode their luck some times but they scored the opener on 37 minutes. But on 44, Raggi was sent off for bringing Lukaku down in the area, with Lukaku scoring a placed penalty shot to level the game.
Palermo spent the entire second half attacking and as the game came to a cloe, Palermo and Bari looked as if they would draw, but the 10 men of Bari hit Palermo on the break and scored in the 87th minute, giving Bari a surprising win

Before
Palermo were looking to bounce back from defeat today, against another team who have had varied result and performances.

After
Fiorentine seemed to be happy to knock the ball around and take long shots, where as Palermo were quick on the break, and this paid of as Lukaku bundled the ball home on 28 minutes.
9 minutes later, on another Palermo break away, Hernandez scored from a tight angle to give Palermo a 2 goal cushion.
It was match of the same in the second half, with Pastore scoring from a free kick, 20 yards out.
But there was time for a Fiorentina goal, as a Mutu shot deflected of Bovo, and rolled into the net. 3-1 to Palermo

Diego Simeone has today told the press that no one in Italian football likes Mr Drezzy. Commenting on Catania's up and coming Italian Cup against Palermo, he said he would do Italian football a favour by beating Palermo, and hopefully then Palermo's board would sack Mr drezzy

Before
Palermo wanted to avenge defeat which they had suffered at the hands of Catania at the start of the season

After
This was a very tense derby game with the only goal coming from Lukaku on 26 minutes. Catania were perhaps the better side, but with only 1 shot on goal, they were never likely to score.
As Mr Drezzy celebrated after the game, Diego Simeone had some harsh words for him, but the two were held apart by their players. Palermo win 1-0

Italian Cup 1st round results

Cup favourites Inter Milan easily disposed of Brescia at the San Siro, winning the game 2-0.

A.C.Milan were shocked at home, as Bari defeated them 2-0. Ghezzal scoring two superb goals to help put Bari in the Quarter Finals
Juventus scraped past Modena 1-0, to book their place in the Quarters, whilst Parma easily disposed of Lecce, winning the game 3-1
Palermo squeezed past Sicilian rivals Catania, courtesy of a Lukaku goal. There were some afters once the game finished, with Catania manager, Diego Simeone, having a few words with Mr Drezzy
Napoli are also through to the next round, after they edged past a very determined Atalanta side, Ruiz's 55 minute screamer enough to see them through
The shock of the round came in Roma, as Roma crashed out to Serie B side Spal. Pettinari got Roma the first goal on 42 minutes, but a resiliant Spal scored the equaliser on 55 minutes, Fofana the scorer.
The match went to penalties, with Spal scoring all of theirs, and Totti missing Roma's final penalty kick, giving Spal the win. But Spal were the better side on the night, having 10 shots on target whilst Roma only had 4

With Hazards willingness to leave Lille, it may Alert Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona who are all interested in the player, with Inter Milan and Juventus keeping an eye on the situation

Before
Napoli started of the season really well, but have started to falter. Palermo's spirits were high, and they believed they could beat any one

After
Palermo didn't let Napoli play, and as a result, they created themselves alot of space, with Lukaku grabbing the opening goal on 6 minutes. As Napoli were getting themselves back into the game, Campagnara was sent off for punching Lukaku. Lukaku then went on to score a penalty on 38 minutes, giving Palermo a 2-0 lead going into the break.
After the break, Napoli looked lost and Hernandez scored another goal to add to his seasonal tally, Palermo lead 3-0.
