To the admins and other of the more talented players out there then myself: Do you find any success with poachers/advanced forwards in this game and/or possession tactics? They both seem random and inconsistent in my game(s).
Players not backing down in team talks, 80% of the time you have an unhappy player you can only give in or upset them more.
Wow, incredibly harsh. Sadly also not unrealistic at Madrid. What were the club expectations?sacked after 1 season with real madrid. 2place 4 points behind barcelona.semifinal cl...daaaamn
dont remeber.guess win everything
barcelona 32 win 4 draw 2 lost points 100
my team 28 win 9 draw 1 lost points 93
I was ( and am still) a great fan of FM 11, 12 and 13, I played it for so many hours.
But then...... FM14, I just hate it, its terrible.
- Players heading the ball away when they arent even defended and can just lay it on to their feet....
- Players who cant even give a pass over 2 meters.
- Goalkeepers who kick the ball away blind when the tactic says '' distribute ball to defenders''.
- Defenders which are told to press but they dont even move a freaking meter to get the ball...
I just can't stand it, I aint winning anything, tried different tactics ( and gave them time) also a few tactics from here. But it can't be the tactic i hope, they can't even pass, I see players who tackle the ball as first touch -.-
Then my defenders.... even snails are faster, every trough ball and they are gone...
The game is just terrible in my opinion, and i really dont get it that people enjoy the new tactic system... Please give some tips because i dont want my ?45 to be wasted to this ******* and i loved the series...
I wish someone would make a management sim to rival SI. At least that way they'd be pressured into releasing something that isn't shamefully unfinished. I started this game, and thought it was equally terrible to fm2013 when first released. I spent hours understanding the match engines flaws and eventually accepted them and made a tactic that was reasonably successful. I didn't play for a while and now a new patch has been released, and back to square one. Here's a really neat idea, release the game when its ready not release a version of it 20 times a year. Sell the product to the consumer when you actually have a product. Not when you have the makings of one. An example of this years strategy would be selling a house at full price yet giving the buyer one room at a time, each room having their own almost unbearable flaws. Having played for years i'm regretfully close to calling it a day. A real shame to see the decline of such a great series. I just hope a new game will come along to fill the void left by this annual shambles.
