Defenders standing still and refusing to head a corner away and letting the opposition just walk in score from 2 yards out. Of course, I can't set Match Preparation to Defend Set Pieces because, despite playing 12 pre season friendlies with the same tactic and set match prep - tactics - to max half the tactical categories are awkward and the rest are barely competent.
Half your defence constantly ignoring team instructions and opposition instructions and all charging to close down one winger, none of them putting in a tackle and letting the winger just walk past them to easily slide the ball to an unmarked striker six yards out, with your midfielders standing still on the edge of the area do eff all.
Wingers getting to the byline and taking ridiculous pot shots which have absolutely no chance of going in when you have several players in the box waiting to get on the end of a cross.
A player chasing down the ball, turning around and refusing to pass to their team mate, standing still for 10 seconds because the game thinks an opposition player standing 40 yards away counts as "pressing" and the player thinking they have to stand there and hold onto the ball before eventually hoofing after letting the opponent jog up to them to press.
As I mentioned earlier, players constantly, under absolutely no pressure, just aimlessly hoofing or giving the ball straight to the opposition despite your team and player instructions telling them to keep the ball patiently waiting for a good moment to play a through ball. A through ball is not an aimless smash aimed at no one.
How do SI manage to keep justifying this sort of stuff every year?

I started as Spurs then left for Barca after winning everything. After my replacement got sacked 18 months later i decided to go back. Eric Lamela and a few others wanted to leave for continental football as soon as I joined (despite being 15th on the all time managers list), couldn't be convinced to stay and insisted on transfer list. I decided against it and reload, staying at Barca and planning to buy Lamela. But wait, it's Lauren Blanc taking over my old club (who to be fair has won the French league 3 times), and suddenly all the players don't mind staying at home every other Tuesday or Wednesday anymore!

Heh, whenever opposition get a corner, I know I'm fkd. Even if I play CBs as Fullbacks to defend on set-pieces, their clearance ALWAYS goes to opposition player. If the clearance is aerial, it'll go to opposition's only tall player in the box.
First touch is SO **** HEAVY! Especially with defenders, they receive the ball and just give it away in first touch to striker. And then can't catch him even if he has 10 pace, 13 acc and the defender has 17 acc, 15 pace.

ppl are not making these Things up and just because you aren't experiencing them doesn't mean they don't exist, so please go to some other forum and post there cause your comments are pathetic and lame
Alright, i'll leave you to cry.
I'm with Cuz on this, everyone is suddenly blaming the new patch for breaking the game when nothing with the ME changed. People just don't like to admit they're doing something wrong and look for an easy excuse.
First touch on players is one thing that needs looking at though.
This is called Post Your Frustrations, so pll post their frustrations... CuzLFC should just keep his smartass comments to himself
I'm sure when everyone says latest patch, they mean 14.2, the major update. 14.2.1 was minor patch with a couple of UI fixes and that unemployment fix, total 6 changes.
Maybe his frustration is people blaming SI or the ME when usually it's neither causing the issue. I'm not saying the game is perfect because it's not, but some people in this thread are posting as you like to say are "pathetic and lame" comments.
Granted some are talking about 14.2, but it's clear others are just blaming whatever they can.
Then he shouldn't have question my tactic/managing when the fact I posted was players with low free kick taking stats smashes it into the corner or the very, very slow strikers outpaces my defenders. I can accept this happening on rare occasions, but when it becomes the norm rather than the exception it ****** me off and CuzLFC comment didn't exactly make it any better

Yup some of the comments are quite a bit offensive since SI try to make this game as realistic as possible, not easy. People like if their striker scores 30 goals every season, which is very rare IRL. Some blame SI even if they use imbalanced tactics. But some of the criticism is valid. I myself find it frustrating at times and this is "Post your frustrations thread". Although people do need to tone down a bit but they're frustrated, heh.
