azpilicueta actually came top on assists in EPL in one of my games (I wasn't chelsea), and judging from his performance against my team they must have all been throw ins. absolute nonsense.

Once he had 23 assists in my Chelsea save.
Since 14.2.2 every team i play, every striker i have, every tactic i use....strikers just don't score goals. Before this last update they made i had +20 goals/season strikers, after that they ****** up the game in terms of goals scored.
I went back to FM12 and now I'm happy
no more frustration caused by this terrible game.TonyVilliers

I just played stoke with Swansea. I had 25 shots 10 on target, 0 goals. They had 5 shots, 1 on target, 1 goal. F00kin unbelievable. Then I come out to see Arsenal have beaten Liverpool 7-0, after I beat Arsenal 2-1. What the actual f00k is going on here SI?

Funny you should say that. I forgot to save after the stoke game and had to replay it. Fortunately this time round the game was reversed and I won 1-0.
However in the interests of comparison, look below at the other scorelines and their match stats. Mine is at the top, then two others below who played on the same day. Pay particular attention to the number of shots, and the number of shots on targets. I have more SoTs than either of the other teams and their conversion rate is ridiculously better.
I have Bony up front and his stats are not bad at all. The funny thing is I beat Arsenal and UTD 2-1.

The thing is people will still buy it, there's not another option really, they can re hash the same ***** year after year knowing that we will buy it, this is what happens when a game has no rival.
I've been hoping for years that someone will produce another football manager sim, and please no one try and call FIFA manager a rival, that's like Tomy my first management sim.
FM15 will be buggy and **** for 6 months like every fm.

The match engine is such a mess, being so heavily weighted in favour of the A.I. team, that I can't believe that this has not been rectified in the patches. Leads me to think that there are legacy code issues that will not be easily fixed in future games. What is for sure, similar to what you say, is that S.I. have made a load of money on a crappy, almost perverse product. Money that they don't deserve. I may buy the next version after it has been out a long time and if it gets cheap, just to see what they've done. Otherwise, no way.

Last night I've posted on SI Forum something that no one have noticed yet, you can all go there and take a look in the Other Issues Bugs Forum. Check it out also in your game, choose the Trequartista role, then go to Player Instructions and you will notice that it has the Hold Position and Roam from Position instructions both active by default.
Now, it can be just a case of bad labeling but I was suspicious of something was wrong because I wasn't seeing my player dropping deeper as a Trequartista should do.

As for the match engine being heavily weighted in favour of the AI, that IS NOT simply the case. If it was the case, then we wouldn't see opponent players scoring own goals and making silly things like ours do. There are several issues to be fixed (as we all hope they will with the next patch), it's very disappointing that we have to wait about 4 or 5 months after being released to have a decent game, but things like the AI cheating against us it's a fantasy.
You do know that FIFA Manager 14 was the last of the series, right? Serves them right, they barely put any effort into the football side of the game and even the non-football aspect was average at best.
Maybe all FM15 needs is an overhaul of the match engine and improve on the media aspects of the game.

AI controlled team makes a bid for my player valued at 15 mil. Bid is approx 2.5-5 mil short of his value and they dont budge on their offer. Offer the player round and nobody else seems interested so i end up having to settle for less as only team interested wont give me his value.
I go to bid for a player and the AI team want 2-3 times his value for him, but once i do, other teams become interested and offer 5-6 mil higher than his value. I match the bid and its refused.......
Now i know the length of players contract has an effect on this but when the computer accepts a 25 mil bid from an AI team, for a player i am after and then wont accept anything lower than 40 mil from me, i suspect something is amiss.
