Rofl, beast goalkeeper 2 saves held, 6 saves parried.

If your striker keeps sucking then he's just in poor form, you should just throw him in the reserves and let him play there until he starts scoring again.

Bad luck bro deal with it, I've had games like that where every shot in front of goal fails, and then a fluke early cross is the only goal of the game

Dude, I have 6 strikers, all with 18+ finishing. They all play like that. And all the strikers in my other save games, they all play like ****.
It's not bad luck. It happens every few matches, sometimes even 3-4 matches in a row. It's the ME.

Zzzzz just lost Italian Cup semifinals to a late goal, opposing injured player runs back into the pitch in the 89th minute totally unmarked and immediately picks up a long ball forward lolol

Ya your last screenshot you should've won, but 3-4 matches in a row means you are doing something wrong. I have 3-4 matches like that a season. I would advise making changes to formation/tactic/player instructions. Or try subbing in a non-world class striker lol, last season my 2.5 star striker outscored my 4 star striker and won double the number of PoM. My 4 star striker always performed amazingly in cup matches, europa league matches though (I'm guessing due to hidden attributes)

The only other thing I would comment on is that you still need to improve your ability to score from corners, 12 corners and I'm guessing you didn't score from any.

The main issues I have with current ME are hitting the woodwork too often (TOO MANY PRESS CONFERENCES WITH 3+ CROSSBAR HITS) and too many injuries. I'm currently running 1 head physio + 8 physios with at least 16 physiotherapy...I almost never get "slight injuries" anymore, but I still get plenty of longer injuries. The length of the injury has become more volatile since I increased my physio count..now I get estimates like 9 days to 3 weeks, or 2 to 4 weeks, or 5 to 8 weeks. I guess more physios = lower minimum?

To be fair, it's not a single situation. When your opposition scores with every CCC (yes I know CCC is a vague thing but when you watch the match you can tell it's not just a bobble shot) and you have twice as many and don't score, it's frustrating.

I have Rooney and Scocco up front at the moment, and if you actually watch the games, they put every shot straight at the keeper.

Not only that, but the crosses seem to go straight to the keeper, and markedly so. Or they don't even get to the goal area before they are out of bounds.

The AI teams always seem to have at least 2 people on my player when he receives the ball, regardless of pass into space or whatever, and yet the same two defenders can track back 30 yards almost instantly when ball is behind them.

Basically, the strikers are crowded out incredibly quickly, they always seem to shoot at the keeper (and I've used strikers with Place shots and still the same thing happens) and only if they aren't last ditch tackled by a defender who outstrips them despite have 9 less pace, or the crosses hit the side netting (!) or go straight to keeper.

What I'm getting at is it's not just bad luck, nor (always) bad tactics.

Oh I've tried hundreds of tactics and instructions, because I really wanted to believe that I could somehow reduce the stupidity of this year's ME. But I failed again and again.
You can try to come up with anything you want, but it is still a ****** ME that reflects almost nothing from real-life football. Last year's ME was way better, at least strikers knew how to play like they did irl.
And I don't want to start talking about the ridiculous FB, Winger, Corners, Free kicks, long shots, crosses... blah blah blah again anymore. Too **** tired.

I think about 50% of corner kicks taken go out for goal kicks straight from the kick.

I am the current champions of Europe. My star striker, Jonathan Viera has scored 1 goal - one ******* goal - in 20 matches. Not through lack of chances, mind. He misses every one-on-one, scuffs shots on the six yard line, misses penalties (I know, right?), his shots go out for throw ins.... and he's getting 7s.

I do find the amount of crosses, even corners, that go straight out, quite bizarre. I mean crosses that don't even make the penalty box before they are out of play behind the goal.

Even with left footed taking right corners and vice versa, it still does that. I think that should be an addition to 2015; the ability to ask for out or in swinging corners in instructions.
 
anyone feel that clubs want ridiculous fees for good players but wont bid anything close to the same for your top players?
 
like 5 seasons ago Id have Barbosa and Mitrovic upfront. It always seemed like 1 of them would have an amazing season and the other would play like ****, then the next season they would swap.
