have you seen the SI forums? It's full of excuses.

for instance, here's a reply to the very same problems everyone here has been having. They closed the thread on answering:

    After patch.[/h]
    Players ignore "shoot less" instruct. About 30+ shoots each match, and 0 goals.
    99% of shoots goes wide. Opponent only need 1 shot each game to score.

    It seems like you ruin the game more and more by each patch you do. Was unplayable before, now its just uninstallable.

    And please fix this online lag ****. Super fun to play with freinds when you have a 10 sec delay each time you click something.​

    Megnis, this isn't a bug report. If you have specific issues, like lag issues or any other network related issues, please report them here: http://community.sigames.com/forumdi...rk-Game-Issues

    The other problems you mention are tactical problems. You can create a new thread here: http://community.sigames.com/forumdi...ing-Discussion
    Post a screenshot of your tactics, if you can and mention the problems that you're having. Someone will give you advice soon enough.

Or ur whole defense sitting on one side and and open free space to GK boom goal wtf lol well hope they fix coz to wait all the way to December with patch will see me go back an older version coz 4.3 is bad so sad coz besides ME awesome game been playing every series since FM 06

    [Reviewed] Patch 14.3 Too many saves and misses[/h]
    Played half a season and a common thing that happens is that countless cccs one on ones are saved by keepers that become world class all of a sudden. Even against lower league oppositions. Also still see the ridiculous 60 yard attempts on goals.​

    If you can provide specific, timed examples of truly clear chances which are missed, then it will serve to help any investigation into this area.

    Anecdotal comments don't count as Bug Reports in the absence of any hard evidence.​

    I'm currently playing FC Bayern and I have games where I have more then 10 shots on goal, many clear chances. But when my players shoot it's either straight on the goalkeeper or far out wide. But the opponents can get 3 chances and score 2-3 goals easily without problem...​

    Anecdotal evidence doesn't help, guys.

    In future, please provide a PKM along with a time of when the bug occurs. SI can then investigate.​

No, I haven't seen it because I'm permanently banned. The only contact i've had is with Neill Brock because of the brazilian spoken game when it's supposed to be portuguese spoken.

Also, there's no point posting problems at a general forum. They have several bugs sections, so it's simple: just post at the right section either with screenshots or with pkm's

I now find that setting your team to control and give no passing instructions (in your team instructions) seems to be more effective than setting the mentality to Attack.. rather strange.
 
2-3 loss against werder... I have 17 shots, 5 ccc. They have 3 shots, 1ccc. Rage quit, save game corrupted, ffs

My examples were in the bug reporting section, and there are loads of the same complaints. You'd rightly think it's a bug that no one can hit a barn door from six yards, right? Yet they all get batted aside with "we can't see a problem with this, it's your tactics".

They hide behind their demands for something more than "anecdotal evidence". That's fine for hard-to-isolate issues, but this is not hard to isolate. It's at the core of the ****** game and they should know their code well enough to know how and why this is happening. If they don't they're incompetent.

In real life, do we see strikers failing to score easy chances, consistently, and then blame it on the manager? Do we hear managers tell the press, "yeah, the big man missed half a dozen sitters today, just like he did last week, and the week before, and ****, the week before that even. Maybe it's my tactics"?

No, we don't. Because players who are that consistently poor do not play professional football.

I'd suggest that the ME is broken if your $60m guy up front needs 20-odd chances to hit the target. SI does not need PKMs and screens to show this is the norm. They know it is the norm. And they hide behind excuses and dismissals.

Look, the one thing SI admits is not testing the 14.3 ME enough to pick up on the AI corner defence. It's not beyond the realms of possibility, then, that there could be other things that weren't picked up. So enough with the defence of SI, they have a broken game that frustrates many of its owners.

PS I did see one bug reported, back in August, and SI's reply was "yes, we know that's a problem - we'll look at it for FM15". FM ******* 15! FM14 was but weeks old as a BETA and yet they weren't going to fix reported bugs until the next iteration of the game. That's ******* priceless.

Another frustration:

Ever Banega has told me he wants to leave Valencia because he has more ambitions than the team. We are currently the reigning champs of the Champions League. I tell him that we'll win it again. He tells me that my ambition isn't even on the same page as his. Tell me.

Well I tried this and no player instruction and my team seem to play way better in second half than first half and was set to control... Well try normal tactic with player instructions 1st half and none 2nd Half and no player instruction will let u know but does work good in second half weird

Well, If I was defending SI I wouldn't have been permanently banned would I ? :) So, it's not that I'm defending them or saying that the game hasn't problems. It has and several. The point I was focusing was that people can put a lot more pressure on them to fix things if they report the problems with screenshots and pkm's, instead of complaining here and in other forums. Yesterday, I spent more than 3 hours preparing an e-mail to Neil Brock from SI about bugs and other problems with translations, player role descriptions and ME bugs. It's not nice ! People buy a game to have fun and then we spend hours, days, weeks, months, analysing and testing for them. Where's my payment ???? We,re working for free, **** !

And we still have to deal with some dumb and arrogant moderators that are always prepared to use the argument "it's your tactic". Well, some news for them: all tactics have flaws, even those from Guardiola and Mourinho. If not so, they would be invencible. But best of all is Mr. RTHerringbone stating that motivating players during matches is not important. Really ? A guy stating these kind of things has the nerve of telling people "it's your tactic".

As for ccc's and goals: did you know that there's not a single team that has a rate of ccc's conversion above 50% ? You can check it at this link The Rate of Attack and Creative Efficiency (RACE) to Goals Model

Very nice stats & research. And don't forget that FM14 ME has some wacky shots/headers that shouldn't be counted as a CCC.
