What year you in on your save? if you got him young, he probably needs to be a bit older and adapt more to reach the heights everyone expects him to.. also what formation you got him in? I'd use him as rotation if i were you.

I posted a example of the A.I teams getting cut price wages for players with Felipe Melo, and it happens time and time again.

This guy wanted 80k for me - plus a TON of bonuses. I tried to negotiate...nothing. I gave a ''take it or leave it'' offer at 60,000 to be my highest payed player and he rejects my offer and leaves for that. I actually can't remember what wage he was on but I'm 100% sure it was 10k either way than what he's getting at his new club.

Why? Also Transfer Fees...regardless of being in the same league etc, I always have to pay double while other clubs get super low but realistic bids accepted for players. I'll drop 7m on a 2m rated regen who is interested...nothing. A.I club offers 3.5 and the bid is accepted. Even if I match bids I still get refused! Again - regardless of being in the same league, lower/higher reputation - I understand not strengthening rivals but even some obscure league where 7m is 5 times the value of the whole club they still accept a lower bid!!

Sometimes prices I'm quoted also for players is ridiculous BUT I can't argue with some valuations of players however - in my Charlton game in the Prem i've picked up some bargains. Kheidra for 2.5m from Madrid, Zaccardo for 2m, Barzagli for 500k, Kranjkcar from Spurs for 1m, Francis Coquelin for 1m, Corluka for 2m, Carlos Vela + Fierro for 5m. Also got Gago/Granero/Kagawa/Lorik Cana/Erick Torres/Toby Alderwield/Mattias Caruzzo and Ben Amos + decent regens on frees!

I just got one of the biggest frustrations ive ever had playing FM...

Im playing on a lower league team (currently in Serie C2) well, I won a match where i was the underdog 5-0 away; after that, i play a match home against one of the worst teams in the league (I think they are 20 or 18). Well, thing is, i tought I saved before the match started, so it started, i got 2 of my best players injuried and forced to sub; then one of the other team's player tryes to send a ball to the box and it accidentally goes into the goal (bounces on wood and in lol); after that, one of my guys is running and suddendly the one behind him falls and it says my player hitted him on purpose and gets a red card; so that was it, i ragequitted, load again, and poof, my save is in the match BEFORE, the one i had won 5-0, i just turned off my pc and havent played since that...
 
Was about to play the Carling Cup final, Liverpool vs Villa, and players like Lucas, Henderson and Shelvey are unavailable because they're traveling for international matches. Sorry, but **** that. No matter how small the cup, a cup final is more important.

Yeah I HATE that. So my wonderkid playmaker goes off on international duty all through the year for the Under 23's? In friendlies? During weeks packed with important matches? It's stupid.

Also a few more frustating things.

Main GK gets injured. 2nd GK is actually decent - yet completely ***** every single game up for me. Title chasing with Charlton 3rd season in the prem desperatly trying to keep my maturing stars happy...and I think out of 11 shots the A.I have in the past 3 games my 2nd GK has conceded over 50%. Thats why you're on the subs bench. It seems to me that if I have to field a youth/weaker/back up player the A.I will exploit the **** out of him. Sure - ''he's inexperienced'' or ''not match sharp (despite being fit)'', sure...yet the A.I can field a obscure player from the reserves who has no match fitness, no first team experience, and of course they have a storming game! Everytime. I get excited if the A.I's first GK is out but I should learn they he'll put in a huge performance.

Also - these games. 60% of the ball. 30+ shots. 10+ on target. 1 goal. A.I 40% of the ball (or less) 3 shots. 2 on target. 2 goals. Sure it happens a lot in football but it happens too regular on FM I find..


and finally..

Bring on 2 subs at HT - Bring on one around the 60 minute mark, 65 minutes in somebody gets injured. Every. Time. It's happened at least 3 times of note I can remember off the top of my head and it's only the 18 game mark in the Premiership!
 
if they're just friendlies check the dates on the international call ups and check your fixtures...if they clash withdraw them

Are you ******* kidding me? I need to win my game v Blackburn in 11th to win the league. Typically my number 1 GK gets injured yet AGAIN a day before, along with my star right winger regen. Awesome. My last 5 premiership games were -

4-2 Norwich
7-0 Leicester
5-1!! Chelsea
3-0 v Stoke
6-0 v West Ham

This is on a 15 game unbeaten run. Dominating teams.

Step up Blackburn with nothing to play for. I knew before I even played the game I was gonna lose - it's FM's great scripted nature coming into play. And..

...2 ******* own goals and the softest goal you've ever seen. My rock in central defence literally runs of the complete opposite direction! The first OG my player tackles the ball and it ends up in the bottom right corner. The second one...Blackburn striker shoots 12ft wide of the goal, which bounces perfectly off my players back into the net. I love this game sometimes. My 2nd goalkeeper who single handedly has lost me the league after 7 great apparences is about to be released on a free. **** you Ben Amos. Still, won the League Cup, F.A Cup for the second year running and i'm about to play Lyon in the Champions League final.

Hi. I also suffer with same problem, whenever I used the back button same problem is occurring. If anyone have the solution then please tell me.
 
Pointless team talks: Your winning 2-1 at half time, you are the much better team, your assistant advises you to tell the team to not get complacement, you do that, the whole team is motivated and focused, 2nd half you go out let 2 early goals in and lose 3-2, what is the point in it?
 
Can you cancel a transfer, as i've made an offer, offered the guy a contract and I don't actually want to sign him and it says he is joining in January, please help.

Afraid not, the player has signed the agreement to play for you. :P
 
Dunno if this has been posted yet but when you get a successful takeover but not from a wealthy chairman. Dam you FM, I want money to spend XD
 
I started a game with barcelona, and only selected the country spain, would it be possible to move to a different country, if not can i do anything in the game to change it??
 
Can anyone tell me if i can add another country in game, apart from a smart *** answer can i just have a yes or no answer

yes use the add remove leagues feature found under fm in the top right corner of the screen (right next to continue)
