I hate it when youve gone over your wage budget and youve got 20m left in transfer budget and the slider wont slide any more!:(

When 100's of people apply for your available scout position and have ***** stats. So annoying.

I know I've ranted about this before but I've got to go off on one again. I absolutely ******* hate the transfers on Footy Manager, it's been the same for years and I am so ****** sick of it.

Started a new game on my new computer with Spurs and I'm looking to strengthen the defence. I highlight Baines or Fabio at LB and Papadopoulos for central of defence. Put some bids in, rejected and then eventually negotiated.

Baines - Everton negotiate for 25 million. This one actually isn't that bad compared to what happened with the next 2!
Papadopoulos - Schalke negotiate for 55.5 million
Fabio - This one tops the lot, United negotiate for 63.6 million, what the **** is that about?

Then when I'm negotiating with clubs to sell my players I can only get 4 million for Gomes, 4 million Dawson (800k up front, rest over 30 sodding months, best offer I got) and then my personal favourite, Liverpool offer 2.5 million over 48 ****** months for Defoe!! I've actually had it with this game, until they sort it out I'm done, it's just too frustrating.

But thats quite realistic as schalke, Manutd and Everton don,t want to sell their highly rated key players so they try to put you off with high transfer feas whilsht you want to sell youre low rated players so clubs try to buy them cheeply. Although i must agree it is slightly over the top. Especially when they go to another club for a bit less money:(

Sorry mate but 63.6 million for United's back up left back with decent potential is not realistic on any planet, except for yours maybe! Neither is 55.5 million for more unproven talent. I've done all the press thing and the players respond with interest in signing for me.

Nope, sorry pal, but can't agree with you at all, I think it's ******* daft and you could never command those fees for any of your players when selling.

I'm trying to find my post from not too long ago about it because the thing that really does **** me off is what I say above, you can never ever get anything decent for your best players when teams come calling. The transfers are flawed.

Also, you want to talk about being realistic, if a player wants to leave in todays transfer market then they get the transfer for the appropriate price, that never happens on Footy manager. All players expressed interest in joining me but I had no chance.

I agree that they are excesive. But the reasoning for it is correct. Adleast it isnt as if Almunia has a asking price of 20m.

But, like I've said in my edited post.

If you want to talk about being realistic then when a player is interested in the transfer then the transfer generally goes through for the appropriate fee.

For example, let's say if the rumours about Modric in real life are true. He wants to leave so Spurs will negotiate with United and probably end up at a fee of a between 25-30 million. I've seen negotiations from Spurs on the game for over 100 million before after saying to the press that you will do everything to sign him and he responds with interest.

Just played Chelsea away and lost 4-2 as Arsenal. 4 injured players of which 3 were inside Chelseas area. No bookings, no penalties for any of them. Van Persie 6 months, Cavani 6 weeks, Wilshire 6 weeks and Walcott 4 months. All 4 of chelseas goals were candidates for goal of the season, a 45 yard screamer, a overhead kick and 2 30 yarders. All in all the worst game i have ever had on fm.

I would totally reload after these injuries lol

Yeah i did. i can take the loss but not the ridiculous injuries. Also Cavani scored 75 goals in 45 games first season for me and is on 70 this season and has played like 40 games. Isit bad to count him as a frustration when he goes a game without scoring lol. The guy is so insane as a poacher i actually get angry with him when he doesnt score in a game :)

A few things that annoy me the most on FM12 and if fixed would truly make FM13 the greatest game on earth.

1. The Match itself:
-The games just dont have a football feel to it, there are some games you know you're going to lose even though you're favourites with the stronger team. E.G If i'm top of the league but have lost and drawn a game, I just know that I wont be winning the next one. Form and morale have too much impact on results.
-The CPU team always win the 50-50's. E.G Win a race to the ball, win tackles. So often I dominate the game, have 10 one-on-one chances and miss them all and then they get a late winner.
-The game is so linear. The CPU always scores before 10mins, before or after half time and right near the end, sort it out!
-Overall graphics need to be improved.

Players and Team Talks
- I started one save with Atletico Madrid with a 'sunday league' past playing experience and no matter what I said it always got bad results. If I won 7-0 and praised their performances they lost focus.
-Another save I started unemployed and had to rescue Swansea from relegation. I one my first few games and then went 3-4 games without winning, I held a team meeting and told them to kick on for the rest of the season, every player reacted badly.
-Team-talks have little effect on the game, i tell them not to get complacent and then they let a goal in straight away.

Tactics
-You have to play a different tactic every game in order to keep winning whereas in reality teams like Barca never change tactics.
-When editing set pieces I want to customise the exact positions and runs the players make like in Fifa 12.

Other
-Far too many injuries
-More variety of questions and answers in press conferences.
-More satisfaction when you win a cup or award.
-At the end of the season it would be good to vote for player of the season etc.
-Interacting with the board never works, nothing gets granted.
-Actual gameplay needs improving- My striker who has stats like 18 finishing and 19 composure misses tonnes of chances whereas some unknown for the other team scores his one chance. The gameplay such as the actual physics and looks of the match engine needs editing to make it more realistic.
-Finally, let us do something with our wages.

I have disagree with your first point. I think form and morale are fairly realistic. Sure, it's annoying knowing that you're going through a rough patch and there's nothing you can do about it but that's football. It happens in real life all the time, teams just have rough patches.

Also how do you suggest that they increase the satisfaction of winning? Surely that's down to the player rather than the game.

i think you have put some good points in there like the using your wages, but your first and second points about the CPU winning everything i find is not true and infact if you find the right tactic get a good team talk (through earning respect , through results).
On the other hand i think that SI should let us do something with our wages.

Getting 3 injuries after bringing on all your subs, talk about taking the p*ss. XD

I do agree with you on some parts, e.g , The actual gameplay , interacting with board and team talks.

The graphics i just feel that i don't mind if they make them better but if they don't I couldn't care less as i think if there going to make anything better always improve the game before graphics in FM's case, but to be honest i really don't want the graphics like FIFA or close to that i quite like it the way it is.

The gameplay i agree with you at some parts i mean i have had strikers that have been the same in you're scenario where they have had high finishing and composer but just cant find the net.

The one thing that SI should improve is when you put in a 30 million pound bid they accept and you get to the contract offer and the players say "I am not interested" i mean most or nearly every team would pressure there player to leave for the money.

The board in my case are just shocking. They refuse every wish i mean you cant get anywhere with them.

I would like to see the players actually lifting the trophy at the end of the season that would be a nice touch to the gameplay.

The last three are my opinion, but really i cant wait for FM13 even though it will be a long time before it is released. Thanks

Another good one that doesn't make sense is
'Teams often play the same if not better when they are one man down'

Was trying to buy windajion the dutch attacking midfielder.. He accepts my contract..2 days later oh whats this? he's out for a frigging year with damaged ligaments.. what'd do you know..

I don't know about you, but i really want a certain player to score more than others, and when he doesn't i get angry.. bad i know..

I got Oxlade-Chamberlain playing regularly but he hasn't performed well over more than 30 games so far. Best mark so far is 7.5 I think. What am I doing wrong?
