Yesterday I wrote about my ****-up in the Frustrations-thread, where I had beaten a very strong CSKA Moscow side with my Rangers team to progress to the last qualifying round for the Europa League. Only to forget to save the **** game when I went to bed afterwards.
Got home from work yesterday, half asleep but still decided to fire up the game and try again. Then what do I do? I forget to deselect my first team subs for the reserve game the same day, meaning I only got three subs with me for the home leg against Moscow (won the first game 1-0 away). That, however, is something I noticed after I pressed save. So, nowhere to return to, I start the **** game. Go 1-0 down early on before I equalize just short of halftime. Then CSKA bags a 2-1 goal on 77 minutes to seemingly go through on away goals. But behold! My 18 year old superstar regen Allan Harriott equalizes on fergie time to send me through to the next round with an aggregate score of 3-2.
And this time I saved the game as soon as it was over to make sure this didn't happen again. Woohoo! (A)
Then went on to beat Ajax 4-2 on aggregate to progress into the group stage! Saved that entire season, it did.
