Post Your Successes

Nothing great since i've only just started after the transfer bug was fixed. 1st season with lyon I got barca in the last 16, 0-0 home lost 3-0 away. 2nd season I get them in the group, 1-1 away, won 2-0 at home! Just great to see how my side's improved.

Man U and Exeter

Playing with ManU again, i just finished the league with 34 wins and 4 draws. 105 for and 21 against.
NO RESTARTS.
won Champions league
lost so sunderland in the FA cup final??? was up 1-0 at half time and lost in the first leg of the legue cup to liverpool. for both FA and league cups i use my reserve and back up players.

With Exeter i played 4 seasons and got them to 5th in the championship. that was very hard.
played 41212 formation. didnt win any cups but very frustrating as a team that low in reutation struggles with consistancy.

now back playing with a big team i am unstopable. learnt alot playing with a low league team. especially mind games and player interaction. very important...

50 goals all competitions, 42 in the league.

I just won the EPL and FA Cup with Everton, first season. All came down to the last day; I was leading with 1 point to Chelsea. My final match was at Stamford Bridge. Thought I would lose, as I lost my home game 0-1. I would've been more than satisfied with a 2nd place, but my team managed to pull off a 0-2 win, which got my fans ecstatic. Also beat Chelsea in FA Cup final (0-1). :D
Apparently this wasn't Chelsea's season, as they also lost ECC final to R. Madrid.

Some may not consider this a success, but getting rid of ashley is good news to me :D

Starting an Exeter save now- Had the same problem with consitency !

Successes from the Exeter save:
Beating Sheffield Wednesday away & er.. beating Argyle. with a.. er.. 92nd minute goal..

My overall most enjoyed successes in FM are:

- FM05: getting the Wigan (championship) job when I was stuck with Rushden at L1 (three seasons there after promoting them from L2, and with the last season being worse than the previous, going from being 1pt short of promotion play off to need the winter transfers to get clear of relegation, though still ended just 5pts short of promotion play off in the end) and take them to Premier in the first season. I moved to FM09 before playing that first PRM season.

- FM09: Doing a game getting in the skin of a more rigurous manager as I was in previous games (see Dexther Bolle, Crewe Alexandra story, though Sophitia is hotter FM09 story here) which show how much fun is it doing it that way instead of going transfers happy. And a very special feeling of discovering Andy Carroll, who I loaned to become my key striker when I played championship in the second season.

- FM10: Getting to draw 1-1 to Real Madrid scoring the first goal and defeating Barça and Atlético de Madrid in my first season in La Liga with Burgos who I brought up from Tercera (fourth tier).

- FM11: Still waiting to get to one such success. Again experiencing how much more gratifying is taking the role of rigurous manager who doesn't go to the transfer for whatever looks shiny.

Messi to Norwich on free transfer. Sure he's 28 but still putting in 8+ average rating a game.

As Benfica let's see

Won League with only 1 loss no draws. (+75 GD)
Beat AC Milan 7-3 AG in quarters (got destroyed by Arsenal)
Beat Braga 7-1 in league

Second Season
Signed Pato for £26million :D

4-0 up in just over 10 mins :D 5-0 full time great second half but just couldn't score:

halfway through 1st season with the Spurs,

leading the premiership with 5 point advantage to man utd and 7 to man city...have scored 55 goals in 22 games, only 13 against.

Beat Bayern Munich in the European Cup with 4-0 :)

Having a great season so far!
