Psycho's UK 2050 and Beyond Save-game Project

The English Premier League being dominated for 50+ years by the same clubs is depressing. Nice to see Tottenham win it occasionally and Nottingham threating.

Got to say I'm quite surprised it's still pretty much contested by the top 4 63 years on, On holiday saves I've done on custom databases you usually see a team like Southampton come up the tables and become a dominating force.

Either at the end of this save-game (2075) or the next I'm going to do a special feature where I look at Club finances and transfer activity through the years. One thing I noticed in the first save-game is that for about 20 years the clubs rarely upgraded their stadiums or moved and now in this save-game quite a few have new stadiums.

Psycho always doing awesome things for the community, keep it up!

It would be nice if FM implemented new clubs every 5-10 years or so would keep it very interesting lol.

Wow. this is enlightening stuff. Will definitely be following this. In your reviews for Europe could you do a history section like u did with the leagues, max times won by etc?

Great news that United will still be England's most dominant team in 62 years!

Spain, the Brazilians of Europe. An incredible 6 consecutive European Championship wins from 2008-2028 and they have won 9 out of the last 15 competitions, england on the other hand have yet to win this competition though they have contested two finals.

England have however had success in the U21 and U19 competitions winning them 6 and 15 times respectively.

South America

Since 2015 only Argentina and Brazil have won the Copa America and surprisingly Argentina edge it by winning it 10 times over Brazils 7, A power shift in South America ?.

In the U20's Chile and Uruguay have had some success but like big brothers contest is still mainly contested by the big two with again Argentina winning the most times
with 18 wins.

Despite Spains success in the European Championships and the Olympics they fail to live up to the hype in the World Cup with only winning twice 2010 and 2062 and runners up once in 2050. Croatian fans must be jumping for joy with winning it in 2074.

England won the French Youth Invitational Cup a consecutive 7 times between 2062 and 2068 and have enjoyed some success in the U20 World Cup winning 7 times since 2013.

The question has to be with the success of the England Youth teams is the expectations of the senior team to much pressure or is it a case of not enough first team matches at club level hindering their progress.

Fortunately for Oliver he made a better manager than player
, starting his management career at Lyon he hit the ground running, winning the Euro Cup.

In 2036 he moved to England which saw him manage Liverpool and winning Liverpools 2nd Premier Title and adding another European Champions League Title to their trophy cabinet saw him appointed England manager in 2038 where he stayed for 4 years with only a 3rd place in the confederations cup to show.

Leaving his post at England of his own accord (the media were reporting he was about to be sacked) he took over at FC Porto where he won the domestic Treble in 2043.

Joining Arsenal late in March 2044 saw him lift the Premier title though really it was down to Micah Richards good early run that won it (from late January Arsenal only had 6 wins, 7 draws and 2 loses in the Premiership). oliver was sacked in November 2044 having a mediocre run in the new campaign.

Between 2044 and 2050 he had spells at Cardiff, Blackburn and Sporting(POR) before moving back to France to re-join Lyon where in 2051 he won the Coupe da la Ligue.

In 2053 he joined PSG and in a 8 year reign saw him pick up multiple trophies including the European Champions League in 2058.

Starting his management career in 2038 at Brentford, and has had successful spells and not so successful spells at Rangers, Huddersfield Town, Tottenham, Arsenal and Nottingham forest but his real success came in the three spells he had at Liverpool.

Between 2046-2051 he won 2 Europa Leagues and a English FA Cup but his poor runs in the Premiership cost him his job and he was sacked midway through the 2050/51 season.

Returning to Liverpool in 2055 after being sacked by Nottingham forest he was only able to reach the Final of the Fa Cup in 2056 (they lost) and finish 3rd in the Premiership in 2057 and midway through the 2057/58 season he was sacked.

Incredibly he took charge for a third time in May 2060 in which in a 9 year spell saw him win 4 Premiership titles, 3 FA Cups, 1 Capitol Cup, 3 European Champions Leagues, and 2 Club World Championships.

Retiring in 2069, his most famous quote was "Football management is like a game of Russian Roullette, every new season is like squeezing the trigger you never know whether this one is going to be the end"

It took Liverpool 45 years to win their next Premier League Title and they only just scrapped it with the 3 teams underneath them on 72-71 points (see third from last screen-shot), some say if Pavel Mamaev had stayed more than a year then the Title would have come sooner, but it was Ryan Harper who put Liverpool back at the top, other successful managers at liverpool where Duarte Nogueria, Will soars and current manager Joe Davies.

Liverpool Won the title with 90 points in 2064/65 but even then it came down to the last game of the season with Nottinghham Forest needing a win with Liverpool drawing or losing their game, Livepool went down to 10 men with 60 minutes remaining but with true grit and determination won 4-0 over Norwich.(see last two screen-shots)

Overall since 2013 Liverpool have won 12 Premier Titles, 8 FA Cups, 6 Capitol One Cups, 6 European Champions Leagues, 4 Europa Leagues, 5 Club World Championships and 5 European Super Cups and in the last 10 years have found themselves finish above their main rivals Man Utd, with Joe Davies at the helm the future for Liverpool looks bright.

West Ham have only won one Cup in the last 63 years that being the Capitol One Cup and like pre 2013 they find themselves yo-yo-ing between the Npower Championship and Premiership, their highest Premiership position came in 2057/58 season where they finished 5th with their longest stint in the premiership being 8 years 2052-2060.

The last 3 seasons have seen their fan base dramatically disappear with only a third of what they had in the early years. This is a team that is surely heading into trouble unless some significant investment in the club is forth coming.

Chairman Roman Abramovich left Chelsea in 2030, although only winning 5 premiership Titles, 7 Fa Cups, 7 Capitol One Cups, 5 European Champions Leagues, 2 Europa Leagues, 4 Club World Championships and 3 European Super Cups during his 25 year reign he left the club a very happy man albeit a little less wealthy than when he took charge.

Before he left he built Terry Park in 2019 named after one of the true greats of Chelsea John Terry spurning the chance to sell the stadium name and make millions from a sponsorship deal.

It was to be 8 years before the club returned to winning ways with victory in the Europa League and 11 years before they reclaimed the Premiership title in 2041. The one Cup they've failed to win though since the Abramovich years is the European Champions League though they have contested two finals in that time.

To date since 2030 they have won 8 Premier titles, 7 FA Cups, 6 Capitol One Cups, 3 Europa Leagues and 2 European Championships and in 2072 moved into a 85000 seater stadium named after another legendary Defender Javi Moreno.

The longest serving manager at Chelsea to date is Corry Evans with a tenure of 20 years (2035-2055) and the most trophies Post Abramovich years.

Chelsea these days however find themselves a mid table team, their best position in the last 17 years is 3rd and the last time they won the Premiership was the 2051/52 season.

And that wraps up save-game 2075.

I'm going to be changing the way I upload screen-shots and make some changes to the format to help reduce the amount of time it takes to do each save-game.

The League and cup overviews and past winners screen-shots will remain the same but I'll be adding the awards screen-shots to this section and at the bottom of each Nation/Continent section will be a downloadable folder for the Records screenshots, this will save time not only on the uploading but also make the pages load quicker. Also if you download the folder and load it into a image viewer your be able to use a slideshow or backward and forward button instead of having to click on each image separately.

Player and Manager focus is going to be based on performances within the current save-game rather than picking players from the previous save-game.

International Competitions will be done the same as the nation/continent cups as stated above.

Club Focus will remain the same.

I was going to do the Save-games every 25 years but again due to the time it takes to post all the information I'm reverting to every 50 years from 2150.

The next save-games will be 2100, 2113 (100 years on special) 2150, 2200 which are already done and waiting to be posted.

Which clubs would you like to see in Club Focus for the 2100 save-game ?

Club Focus will be on Airdie, Sheffield Wednesday and England for the 2100 save-game, screen shots coming from the leagues and cups soon.

Manchester United back at the top and once again dominating after a lengthy spell where they struggled to uphold their position of being one of the most feared teams in the world.

Liverpool find themselves back competing for honours and once again the fierce rivalry between The Reds and The Red Devils is lit once more.

New teams to emerge in the premiership are Barnet, Hull and Wycombe with Barnet a team to watch, with a new Tycoon chairman and their recent good form over the last three seasons in the premiership only time will tell if they can mount a serious challenge for the title.

The three main rivalries remain in the Danske Premiership, Linfield, Cliftonville and Lisburn Distillery.

Distillery had to wait 132 years to regain the title in 2095 and then follow it up by winning it 5 years later in 2100.

Linfield win 17 out of the last 25 with Cliftonville winning 6 out of 25 and for the past 37 years no other team other than these three have finished in the top 3.

Four teams consistently challenge for the top spot in the Irish Premiership, Cork City, Limerick, Longford and Shamrock Rovers.

Limerick win 12 out of 25, Shamrock win 6/25, Longford 5/25 and Cork City 2/25, Shamrock are currently the in form team though winning the last 4 but mid season 2099/2100 Cork City find themselves 5 points clear of Shamrock, although already playing them once and losing, Cork City will have to get at least one result out of the 2 matches between them remaining and match them for points elsewhere to clinch the title.
