Not the best Pre-Season in terms of results but the fitness started looking better towards the end and now we move onto the European Adventure

August 2015

3rd Qualifying Round Leg One

Not the greatest of games but it is nice to get the win in the 1st leg at home as it gives us the advantage going into the 2nd leg up in Scotland.

My star player of the match was Steven Caulker, A great game for him today and will be a major part of our season and will look to keep him here as long as I can.

3rd Qualifying Round Leg Two

A brilliant away performance today as we are now through to the Play Off matches to decide who goes to the Group Stages!

My star player of the match was Divock Origi, He had a great debut match for us today with a goal and an assist today and will have a big part to play during the season.

Game 1

Despite the loss here to open the season, I can't be too hard on the players as Southampton are a very tough side and at St. Marys as well it was always going to be tough

My star player of the match was Sebastien Coates, picked up on the cheap from Liverpool and feel he can grow into a great player and will be given the chance to do that here.

Play Off Leg One

Felt we should had won this game today but not it is all up against us as they have a vital away goal going into the second leg but hopefully we can put in a great performance and get into the Group Stages

My star player of the match was Alex McCarthy, Should had done better with their goal but made up for it by scoring the equaliser to give us a chance in the second leg.

Game 2

Delighted to get the win at home today against Hull City, I used a number of younger players today and it paid off for me which is great to see the depth in quality in our squad.

My star player of the match was Demarai Gray, A nice performance from the youngster today and scored a cracking goal past our former goalkeeper Robert Green.

Play Off Second Leg

What a brilliant way to book our place in the group stages! A top performance by all the players today.

My star player of the match was Adama Traore, A brilliant game today which included two goals and two assists.

Game 3

A loss which was expected here today but the players put up a great effort so I can no not bee to hard on them

My star player of the match was Steven Caulker, Despite the two goals conceded, He had a great game against a top side today, A true leader of the club.

Well two losses and a win to start the season with is good considering who we faced but we are in for a very tough season.

UEFA Europa League: Group Stages

We have been handed a very tough group in our first European Group Stage experience but if we want to do well then we need to beat the best teams.

Summer Transfer Window

As you can see, A whole new set of players came in this season as I felt we needed better quality going into a European season and with also thinking about the future with mainly looking at younger players and I feel that I have made some top signings for this club and that we can once again push for a top 6 spot even tough the Media predict us at 10th.

We also resecured the loan signings of Traore and Saul for a second season in a row which I thought was a great bit of business.​

September 2015

Game 4

A brilliant way to start the month off with a great victory against Crystal Palace as we dominated them.

My star player of the match was Andrija Zivkovic, A great game for the 19 year old today as he scored and set the other goal up on our way to the 3 points, This lad has a very bright future ahead of him.

Group Stage Matchday One

Our first game of the Group Stages and we pick up a win! A great performance from the team today as they sent the fans away from Loftus Road with a smile on their faces.

My star player of the match was Thomas Bruns, A great game for him today and started the scoring with a great free kick, Although not one of the biggest names in the team, he puts in a great effort

Game 5

I decided to give 4 ex-Liverpool players a start against their former club today and they put up a good fight despite the defeat, I was happy with how we kept the goals down to two

My star player of the match was Sebastien Coates, He had a great game against his former club today and was a rock at the back despite the two goals.

3rd Round

What a cup tie this was today as it went all the way to penalties and I am delighted that we managed to win the Shoot Out and go through to the 4th Round, A great effort by all today.

My star player of the match was Giampaolo Pazzini, A great game from the expereinced striker today as he scored one and set one up during the match and also put his penalty away nicely in the shoot out.

Game 6

What a win today for us! coming off a great win in the cup, we followed up with a great away performance. We did play most of the match with a man more than Tottenham after they had a player sent off during the first half but luckily Bittencourt will only be out for just over a week.

My star player of the match was Steven Caulker, Amazing at the back today against his former side and showing them that maybe they made the wrong choice!

2 wins out of 3 this month is more than I was expecting but it is a great month for us and hopefully the confidence continues into October

UEFA Europa League: Group Stage

A great win against Valencia today as we faced the toughest team in my mind first so I am very confident for the rest of the Group Stages

Capital One Cup: 4th Round vs West Ham United
A great win against Arsenal and now we get to stay again in London for the next round as we was drawn with West Ham.

It was a great month for him with popping up with a couple of goals in the league this month, A lot of potential in this lad and will hopefully stick around for many years to come.​
