Yeah I know, they had like 6 chances where they got "Mandanda out of the way", but my defence cleared wonderfully
I just beat Chelsea 2-1 in Prl with the tacs.. Im blackpool and even though i got players like Berbatov(34), Afellay(29) and var der vaart(34) its a great win for a promoted team..

In other news, its a pretty good tactic. I made a few tweaks to suit my team (swapping the APM for an IF, and replacing the BWM with a DLPM), but it has given me some wins and draws in pre season friendlies on my leeds save against higher quality teams (Deportivo 1-2 Leeds, Leeds 1-1 Everton)

For people who are not getting success with tactic need to make one vital change. Very Rigid instead of Fluid. I am managing West Ham and finished 6th in my first season and won the double in my second, Premier League and F.A.Cup. Loads of clean sheets and doesnt reduce chances created. Best Tactic by far.

Čech and Mandanda i think. Don't have the time to look back at the screen, but i think gignac also got a yellow card like 2 mins after entering the match.
Great tactics! I started a sace with Sevilla's reserves and after two draws in my first two matches, I decided to try your tactic. As you can see I've been on a 5 game winning streak since then! Again, great tactics, congrats!

I coutinued testing the tactic after my first post (very good results with Santos), and it was really a unbelivable season... It feels almost like cheating, really.
Below is my Club World Championship result against Man Utd! It's unbelievable really... I wonder if anyone will even believe this to be legit...
In the end I won 2012 Copa Libertadores, First Division, Sao Paulo State Champ and Club World Champ. Neymar as best player of the year, I as best coach. Below the last fixtures.
To be honest I haven't used the 4-5-1 original formation throughout the whole season. After 10 or so games doing great the AI seems to get used to formation and if I don't change I just start losing. You can notice specific periods where I lost/tied many games, usually when I was forced to change tactics.
I ended up creating a 4-3-1-2 formation based on Raikan's 4-5-1. What I did was change the AMR Winger to a Trequartista upfront, the DMC turned into a Central Midfielder Support and the AML was kept as a adv. playmaker but in the middle. So I ended up with 3 central midfielders (playmaker att, ball winning def, central support) , one AMC (playmaker support), and two STs (trequartista + poacher). I also changed defensive line to deep in this adapted formation, and it worked quite well. Everything else was kept as set in the original tactic but for very specific tweaks due to the formation change. But that's kind of off topic...
I used Team Blend match preparation for 50% of the season, changing to defensive positioning and defensive set pieces after the team got fluid with the tactic.
In the fixture list I can point out the 8/29 game against Palmeiras as the game I started switching between 4-5-1 and 4-3-1-2 and after I did that I started getting great results again. I pretty much played 6,7 games with one tactic then changed to the other, planning ahead to make sure the switches to 4-5-1 happened one or two matches before major games.
I wonder what have you guys been doing to counter this problem (AI getting used to the tactic). I also want to know if everyone has been using the touchline instructions and assistant's OI. I always use the assistant's OI but I only use the touchline instructions every so often and really didn't miss it a lot (although it is true that I did some very nice goals with pass into space, clearly seeing the instruction working).

I'll try this with some European team, not sure if Man City or some other rich team that hasn't been winning a lot of champs, or maybe a team like Shaktar, Dynamo etc that have good players and some money... it could be a good challenge.

I think Shakthar would be a good team, Jadson, Douglas Costa, Alex Texeiria etc etc I pretty much tweak my tactic every game I play, if I rest Nani I bring on Giggs or Young and I have seperate roles and duties for them
so it changes 95% of the time

i use your tactic 4-3-3 with my favorite club liverpool...so far so good but if play away with weaker team always lose...againts wham 1-3 away....againts ranger 0-2 away too...again tottenham 0-1 away too
if play at home base anfield they play so well...i change little your tactic in left winger 1 put babbel there
you set role left winger to advance playmaker...i look babble ability not so good as advance playmaker,,I change him to winger atack...then team instruction i change little to balanced ataccking.
I use dmc with lucas mcl advance playmaker gerrard mcr winning midfield with maireles
right winger joe cole left winger babbel..poacher striker run with ball often Torres my best player with gerrard...anything wrong???plis help me

its not the tactic mate, its the game, been a problem since the defualt patch, what patch are you using?
Lung38121, when you play away from home, take down strategy to Balanced and philosophy to Control or Counter even for the 1st couple of months...
use retain possession, pass into space, get stuck in, work ball into box home and away
change Mereiles to Box to Box rather
perfect change with Babel
play Joe Cole as an Advanced Playmaker instead of Winger and set him to move into channels not hug touchline
Ok so my second season just finished and as you can see i had no problems at all defending my title , winning the prem comfortably, i would have won by an even bigger margin had i not taken my foot off the gas in the last 2-3 games and played squad players rather than my 1st 11.
Thoughts after 11.3?
Tactic still works fine although ive found using shouts vs certain teams is certainly more needed, my biggest problem is the retarded amount of injuries im getting with this new patch.
So a highly succesfull season although mostly im using 4-4-2 tactic , on tough away games or in europe i revert to this formation , i just thought id post feedback here rather than spam 2 threads.
So whats next for me , well i may mothball this save for a while and start something fresh , or i may clear out any dead wood in the squad see how much cash i get from the board and go for a big signing actualy made a profit this season so the crippling debts are all but gone ( board takeover mid season certainly helped)
As for my england job , well its an easy group so no point to post screenies, needless to say il be qualifying with games to spare easily.
What im realy after is a new save but i always pick boro in championship, i want a decent team with half decent finances , any sugestions?...anywere will do including abroad just not prem teams.
