Rangers vs Celtic - Jan 2nd 2011

Im not saying that Celtic didn't deserve the win, but Craig Thomson should never have been allowed to referee that game after what happened after the last old firm match.

I think he was a bit more biased towards celtic on this occasion, perhaps scared of Neil Lennon. He did get the penalty decision right, but there should have been a penalty or two at the other end, and numerous other decisions in rangers' favour as well.

Celtic were the better team, but once again, and old firm game, that has been ruined by refereeing decisions.

Why shoudnt he referee the game lol he is one our top referees i do not think that the referees feel scared of neil lennon as if you remember lennon is the one that is going to pay the price for the outburst not them lol. Also lol are you having a laugh laferty should have won a oscar for his dive and the other wasnt a hand ball as it touched mark wilson head then lafertys hand. The only decisons that the referee got wrong where:


Samaras should have been booked for running into the crowd, Kayal should have booked for blocking mccucloch, Boudgera should have had a second yellow for the penalty. These had no barring on the game. So i dont understand how you gather from todays game the referee runied it. Get over the result we did at the start of the season. There are more games to play between now and then end of the season.

Well to have a silence is great but if u where there like me you would of heard the ammount of celtic fans that had a cough. mmmmmm suspicious.

Aye right!!!! Must admit you talk TP just watched the game and saw what we were up against. The first 15mins was all Gers.....from then on it was 'who was going to score first'. The only player that could hold his head up in the Gers team was the young boy Ness - what a talent. And then it happened, the Gers goalie had a brainsnap and Sammy walked around him a tucked it away rather nicely. Lets breakdown your predictions:

• Anyway I just cant see past Rankers losing - spoken like the one eyed bigot you are!!
• Millers goal record speaks for itself - 2/1/11 NONE
• Weiss leaving the Celtic defence standing - that he did, pee ing themselves laughing after missing from point blank range!!
• Big Buggy Eye is dngerous going forward and without a doubt will have the likes of Sammy & Stoked in his back pocket - thanks for the penalty Buggy Eye
• Oh and Steve Davis can be lethal..........who? was he playing?
• I'll go for 2-0 Gers.....am no comong tae you tae get ma palms read thats fir sure (6)

In fairness Celtic fans have a far better reputation throughout Europe than Rangers. And I'm not a Celtic fan, in case the old 'bias' claim is used

Decent game, livened up after a woeful first half. Would have preferred a score draw though, I hope Hearts close in on the OF.

On Topic: Celtic were sensational, Rangers couldn't get a look in and Rogne was superb, Miller never got a look-in. Mulgrew and Izaguirre were brilliant down the left side and Weir and Boogeyman got ripped apart. Plus, you know Walter's getting desperate when he puts Kyle Laugh-at-me on, he and McCulloch were only on there to break legs and rile us up. Didn't expect a win, so very pleased.

keep on topic. We are talking about the game not about who is the best supporters (also just have a think before you say anything your fans cannot go anywhere in England without a police escort for european games) i think you should be more concerned with your own team than ours. Except you got beat fair and square the referee was not been biased as boudgera should have walked and he never so you dont have an arguement. There are another two old firm games before the edn of the season whcih will decide the league trophy also you have two games in hand. Your team was dire yesterday and celtic pretty much walked through the game with ease. One loss doesnt mean the league is over!

Game yesterday was poor drowned my sorrows bigtime,
I respect celtic fans at the game for honouring the minutes silence, One guy clapped and a few coughed but the majority done well. Deserved win for celtic rangers never really looked interested.

Almost knew it before i even clicked this thread, quit the arguing man and talk about football like men, some banter is fine but the "yous are bigots, no yous are" so much rubbish bigots on both sides of the old firm. Thought it was a rubbish game, both sides were poor we simply too our chances and that was that, glad to see most of our support respect something and show that we are good people.
