Some Brentford Updates-
Stephen Wright has been released
David Hunt has joined Crawley (On a two year deal)
Nicky Forster has retired as a footballer and is now a 'manager' - recently linked with the vacant posts at Torquay United & Hayes and Yeading United.
Brentford's managerial position is still vacant however it looks like Uwe Rosler will become the new manager but it is not agreed yet!
Darren Sarll; Brentford's youth coach, has left and has joined the backroom staff at Rotherham under Andy Scott.
Andy Scott (Manager) is now the manager of Rotherham.
Gary Haylock has left Hayes and Yeading as their manager so their managerial status should be set to 'vacant'.
Good job Foss, keep it up and I am sure everyone at FM Base is really looking forward to when the full update comes out, Cheers.

Some AFC Wimbledon Updates-
The following have all been released and are now 'free transfers'.
Ed Harris
Jon Main
Mark Nwokeji
Delano Sam-Yorke
Ismail Yakubu

Just Remembered More...
Brentford have set up a partnership/affliated club with AFC Wembley.
Hayes & Yeading are to ground share with Woking FC at the Kingfield Stadium, so Hayes' home ground needs to be set to Kingfield (Woking).
Luton Town have released Lloyd Owusu & Adam Newton (Both ex Brentford) so are now 'free transfers'.

Will update the thread with anymore Brentford/lower league news.

Thanks Again Foss!!!

from a quick look - 2 things, firstly robbie keane is still set to sign for west ham at the end of the season... this is not true - and it just means u cant do anything with him

also, izale mcleod at barnet is still injured for 5 months

just had a look at a few eg, ben burgess chimbonda and theyre all still at their clubs - also jon paul pittman is still at wycombe (should be at oxford)

You do realize I haven't done every insignificant transfer yet? There's no need to release any players, it's better to just wait for them to find new clubs as the summer progresses.

What are the starting budgets like for teams such as Norwich, QPR and Swansea?

I think it should be like this (in order) £5, £500,000,000, £5.

I'm not going to meddle around with budgets because I have no idea what they would be.
Unless there's solid evidence of budgets and not gatherings from transfer rumors and supposed bids then I would not like to change it.

fair shout. The problem you will have is that no same club will publish how much they have to spend, the best you can get is guestimates based on the club's last financial results, which is good for you personally, as it forces the people who want them changed to go dig up the info themselves

Oh I forgot to say last night when I loaded a game up with your update Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back at Barca.

Are AC Milan going to use the buy option of his loan then? Until it happens, I'm not going to keep the loan.

Foss: confirmation of united fall in debt, and cash balance:
the andersred blog: Manchester United’s Q3 results: not nearly as interesting as the football

In the third quarter United repurchased £5.5m of bonds to take the total buyback for the year to £29.5m (face value). Not all this cash spend fell into the period. At 31st March the club had a cash balance of £113m. With the dollar weakening vs. sterling (and therefore reducing the sterling value the dollar denominated element of the bonds), gross debt fell to £478m. The fate of the repaid PIKs remains a mystery.

that balance is currently risen to 160m but you wont get confirmation till november

Where have you acquired the 160 million figure?
Thanks for the cash balance and debt, too.
