ROCHEYB'S CUSTOM LOGO CREATION Thread

Hi there

I was sent here from Twitter

I used to play an online game called hattrick (I figure a fair number of people on here will have done back in the early 2000s) and my team there was called Albatross Stanley.

With Create A club being a thing these days in FM, I am looking for an update to the logo that I had for my hattrick game :)

I'm looking for something classic, black & white with some Gold contrast maybe?

I can supply the old logo but it was perfectly low tech at the time, and its time for something new!

I'm roughly half-way through but the size of the project makes it difficult to prioritise. I will change tact slightly and create logos for designated divisions and then do them division-by-division.

A blue dragon against two-tone blue and white pinstripes. The yellow used for the Year of Formation and the outer edging is sampled from the dragon's eye.

MACCLESFIELD UNITED F.C.
I've retained the St. George's Cross from the original Barcelona badge and the red-and-yellow stripes of the Catalan flag, just because those colours were included in the colours you listed. The blue rampant lion is from the Macclesfield Coat of Arms (the version on the Macclesfield Town badge is holding a bale of wheat; this one is holding a fluer de lys). The yellow-and-purple stripes completes the list of colours you requested. The background colour is sampled from the lion.

AFC PORTCHESTER
Castles are tricky because the range of vector images that are freely available online tend to depict "castle" as something designed by Walt Disney or PlayMobil and castles relating to a specific, real-world place have their own distinctive look. One way of getting around it is to put battlements into the top edge of the shield, as though the holding device of this badge itself represents the building. The portcullis on the left is in recognition of the period in which Portchester Castle was used as a prison and the anchor is a reference to Portchester Harbour. The football is self-explanatory; the crossed-swords are a standard heraldic mark and they sit behind the Tudor Rose, which is a recognised symbol of the county of Hampshire.

This is an American college logo that I have recoloured and re-engineered into a somewhat classical black-white-gold badge. It could go into a shield alongside a vector image of an albatross but I think this logo is quite strong and bold and will stand out well against a darker FM skin background.
