After hours of fixing some issues with the database, I am finally proud to announce the start of my new FM21 save with Rudar Breza. We are playing in a world where Yugoslavia has reformed into a single country. Unlike last year's edition of the Yugoslavia database, the league structure is very different with different things occurring across the nation. In this iteration of Yugoslavia, there are 7 tiers of football and every club below the 3rd tier are divided up into their respective socialist republics. Also new to the database is the Republic Cups, a series of knockout tournaments that occur in each of the socialist republics. But enough about the save, we have time to further discuss the Yugoslav football pyramid in FM21.

Here is Rudar Breza's info page.
Club info.jpg

Thanks to @Heppy91, we have 2D kits for this club. We start out in the 6th tier in the Bosnia-Herzegovina section of the football pyramid, which is the lowest we can go as the 7th tier only has sections for Croatia and Serbia. Anyway as you can see on the right side of the info page, we will be building this club's history right from scratch. We also hold a rivalry against Bosna Visoko, who are our very close neighbors.

manager info.jpg

This is my manager Jasmin Hodzic, who was born and raised in Germany, but returned to his parent's hometown to lead Rudar Breza to new heights. Every journey must start with a single step, so before we get into July's fixtures, let's look at the rules of our division.

S1 Rules1.jpg
S1 Rules 2.jpg

We have 38 games to play this season and we are forbidden to sign anyone from outside the EU. Only the one promotion spot is available to each of the 4 groups at this level, so if we want to get out of this league, we must win the league title. Due to the shortage of free agents available, this might not be as easy as it seems compared to last year, as that edition of Yugoslavia had a lot of free agents to choose from. Speaking of transfers, I will cover them in the next post (which covers August fixtures). Anyway, let's look at the results from July.

League Matchday 1
League-M1.jpg

We opened the campaign with a close 2-1 victory against Ozren Petrovo. We were very good during the first half, but a sending off in the second almost caused us to blow our two goal advantage as they scored with less than 15 minutes left to go. Thankfully, we held on for an opening day victory for myself and the club.

Kup Marshall Tito 1st Round
Kup Tito 1st Rnd.jpg

We were drawn against Dinamo Odranski Obrež, who play in the same tier as us, but in Croatia. We squeaked by with another 2-1 victory, with two goals in 10 minutes in the first half, but conceding in the second. I hope we do better as time goes on.

League Matchday 2
League-M2.jpg

Another away trip, this time to Lijevče Nova Topola, sees us earn our first clean sheet of the save with a big 4-0 victory, with a hattrick from our new signing Brendonis Bala. Thoroughly enjoyed this victory as we were excellent all game.

League Table going into August
table aug20.jpg

Nothing to say here really until August has passed, but I am cautiously optimistic about the how the next couple of months will go.

That's it for the Rudar Breza save. I will return very soon with August fixtures and the summer transfer business.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. August has passed, so before we go into the fixtures for the month, let's take a look at our transfer business.

Summer20 In1.jpg

Summer20 In2.jpg

There were no outgoing players this time, but we brought in a lot to boost squad depth and build a foundation of younger players for the future. Winter might be quieter but that remains to be seen. Now, the fixtures.

League Matchday 3
League-M3.jpg

We won our first home game of the season with a good 2-0 victory against Krajina Banja Luka. We left it late though, but the win and clean sheet was all that mattered.

League Matchday 4
League-M4.jpg

We continue our good run of form with a close 2-1 victory over Branitelj. We led at half time, but were a bit sloppy during the second half when they pulled one back. We held on though for the 3 points.

League Matchday 5
League-M5.jpg

This match against Kupres was one of the diciest games of the season. Despite scoring with 30 seconds of kickoff, we fell behind after a half our of play and were trailing 2-1 at the break. But, two late goals in the second half allowed us to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory, pushing our winning streak to 6 matches.

Kup Marshall Tito 2nd Round
KMT 2nd Rnd.jpg

We faced our next door neighbors Bosna Visoko in this cup clash away from home. Unfortunately, we could not overcome the 5th tier side and lost 2-0. Even though this game was against our local rivals, I'm not too mad. Success in the Cup was never in the cards and we can finally focus on more important fixtures until the Bosnian Cup starts.

League Matchday 6
League-M6.jpg

We welcomed Ozren Semizovac back in the league and boy we got away with a draw. We were 2-0 down at half time, but we managed to battle our way to a 3-3 draw to keep us unbeaten in the league.

League Matchday 7
League-M7.jpg

The trend of exciting games doesn't stop here with a thrilling 5-4 victory against Kiseljak. Our right winger Adin Redzic carries us to victory by scoring a hattrick against the home side in a match which saw both sides constantly trading blows in the form of goals. Oh boy we are in for a wild ride for the rest of the season.

League Table going into September
Table Aug20.jpg

Now with seven matchdays completed, our league group is starting to take shape now that we can look at everyone's form. We are currently in 2nd place behind Jedinstvo Žeravica on goal difference. Hopefully we can put in some important results so our questionable defensive record doesn't drag us down.

That's it for August with Rudar Breza. I will return very soon with September fixtures.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. September fixtures are done, so let's take a look.

League Matchday 8
League-M8.jpg

We began the month with a good 3-1 victory over Dinamo Donja Mahala. We did fall behind, but we immediately responded and things just got out of hand for the away side.

League Matchday 9
League-M9.jpg

We put out a storming performance with a 5-1 victory against bottom-placed Vitez Buzim.

League Matchday 10
League-M10.jpg

We destroyed Butmir Sarajevo 6-1 at home, with two players netting a hattrick each.

League Matchday 11
League-M11.jpg

We complete the month's fixtures with another big victory, this time away to Proleter Dvorovi.

League Table going into October
Table Sep20.jpg

We finally return to top spot after Jedinstvo Žeravica drew 1-1 with Ozren Petrovo on Matchday 10. We are two points clear of them as a result and 5 clear of 3rd placed Branitelj.

That's it for September. I will return with October fixtures, which include the start of the Bosnian Republic Cup and a huge top of the table clash against Žeravica.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. We have a lot of matches to cover in October, so let's get into it.

League Matchday 12
League-M12.jpg

We narrowly defeated Medjugorje 2-1 in a tight contest that could've gone either way.

Kup Republike Bosne i Hercegovine 1st Round
KRBIH 1st Rnd.jpg

We begin our run in the Bosnia Cup with a 3-1 victory against Priluk, who play in the same tier as we do, but in a different group.

League Matchday 13
League-M13.jpg

This was the most stressful match I had the displeasure to watch through. We traveled away to Jedinstvo Žeravica in a huge 1st-vs-2nd clash where neither of us could afford a loss. We scraped a victory through, but Jedinstvo Žeravica were constantly putting a lot of pressure on our defense. I think I aged 10 years watching this match.

League Matchday 14
League-M14.jpg

Thankfully, this game was much more comfortable and relaxing with a stupendous 2nd half performance as we ran out 4-0 winners against Vrbanjusa Sarajevo.

Kup Republike Bosne i Hercegovine 2nd Round
KRBIH 2nd Rnd.jpg

We hosted Sloga Doboj in the next round of the Bosnia Cup, where we would unfortunately get knocked out on penalties after drawing 2-2. I'm pretty gutted at this result because we were 2-0 down at one point and we fought back to draw level, but our efforts were for nothing as the lottery of penalties went against us.

League Matchday 15
League-M15.jpg

Back in the league, we continued our winning streak with an 8 goal thriller against Jedinstvo Brodac. Even though we were ahead for nearly the entire game, it was still fun to watch both sides play well.

League Matchday 16
League-M16.jpg

The final game of the month was a Halloween clash against Železničar Bosanska Krupa. It was a good 3-1 victory against the side struggling at the bottom of our league group.

League Table going into November
Table Oct20.jpg

I am delighted to see that we are now seven points clear of 2nd place, still unbeaten as we approach the halfway point of the season.

That's it for October, I will return with November fixtures very soon.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. November has passed, so let's look at the results.

League Matchday 17
League-M17.jpg

Our defensive problems continue with a 3-2 victory against Vlasic Turbe, where we fell behind, but came back to win. If we get promoted, I hope to find some quality defenders to stop the leaks.

League Matchday 18
League-M18.jpg

We welcome Krajisnik Velika Kladusa, who managed to hold us back until we scored in the final 15 minutes. It was a pretty quiet game and we did finally keep a clean sheet for the first time since our win against Vrbanjusa.

League Matchday 19
League-M19.jpg

We reach the halfway point of the season with our reverse fixture against Ozren Petrovo. It was a good 2-0 win, our second clean sheet in a row. Nice.

League Matchday 20
League-M20.jpg

We finally played all of the teams in our group as we traveled away to Mladost Kotor Varos. To my disappointment, we could not score at all as we slipped to a 0-0 draw. At least we got the clean sheet.

League Table going into December
Table Nov20.jpg

We are still top with five points separating us and Jedinstvo Žeravica, but with Žeravica virtually unstoppable at the moment, we cannot afford to slip up again, or else we could get stuck in this division. With the winter break fast approaching, the upcoming transfer window could be decisive on the outcome of the title race.

That's it for November. I will return with December and January fixtures as well as the winter transfer window very soon.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. There's been a lot of things happening off the pitch as well as on during these two months. We only played three matches in this period, but our transfer business and youth intake preview should provide some interest. Let's take a look.

intake preview 2020.jpg

For our club, our youth intake occurs every April. From what my Head of Youth Development has provided, we should look forward to this intake, as we got some promise coming in for the full back and goalkeeper positions

winter21 in1.jpg

winter21 in2.jpg

We once again brought in a lot of players for some quality for the first team as well as some prospects for the future. Once again, we have no players leaving the club this transfer window. Now for the fixtures.

League Matchday 21
League-M21.jpg

We start off with our reverse fixture against Lijevče, which ended in a comfortable 3-0 victory in our favor, bringing our clean sheet streak to four.

League Matchday 22
League-M22.jpg

Josip Bozic and curiously enough center back Ive Vidovic helped us destroy Krajina 5-1 in our final game of the year. We enter the winter break with not a lot to worry about.

League Matchday 23
League-M23.jpg

In our first game of the year, we come back from winter break with a very tough match against in-form Branitelj, who are also challenging the league title. We record a very important 2-1 victory to keep ourselves at a distance from Žeravica. I am so proud of my boys for winning this match.

League Table going into February
table jan21.jpg

We are still unbeaten, five points clear of our unstoppable title rivals Žeravica. Branitelj look to be falling away as the gap between them and Žeravica grows larger with each victory Žeravica picks up. With that said, looking at the upcoming fixtures for all three of us, April is going to be a make or break month for all of us, as Jedinstvo Žeravica face both us and Branitelj at the start of April. They need to win both games to stand any chance of winning the league, and subsequently promotion.

That's it for the Rudar Breza save. I will return soon with February fixtures.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. February has passed, so let's look at the results.

League Matchday 24
League-M24.jpg

We record a comfortable 4-1 victory against Kurpes as Bala and new signing Fazliu both score a brace.

League Matchday 25
League-M25.jpg

Josip Bozic puts in a great performance in our away match against Ozren Semizovac as we win 2-0.

League Matchday 26
League-M26.jpg

We continued our unbeaten run with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Kiseljak.

League Matchday 27
League-M27.jpg

We're starting to look a little shaky as we scraped a 3-2 victory away to Dinamo Donja Mahala. We were leading 2-0 at one point, but Dinamo fought back valiantly to draw level in the second half. Thankfully, a late penalty helped us avoid a crucial slip up as we remain five points clear of 2nd place.

League Table going into March
table Feb21.jpg

We are getting into the business end of the season going into March with 11 games left to go. Branitelj are no longer a title rival after a further slip up leaves them nine points behind Jedinstvo Žeravica, who have not lost or drawn since they were knocked out of the Bosnia Cup 2nd Round against Rudanka. It is a two horse race at this point and every single result from now on for both side must be treated as a must win. I cannot see Žeravica losing or drawing against any of their next four opponents they play in the month of March. Come April, they will have to face us and Branitelj, which will define where the season will go once May arrives.

That's it for February. I will return with March fixtures very soon. Feel free to comment on any additional details, I am happy to explain.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. March is done, so lets look at the results.

League Matchday 28
League-M28.jpg

Today turned out to be an absolute dream for our side. While we comfortably dispatched of bottom placed Vitez Buzin 4-1, Jedinstvo Žeravica saw their winning streak come to an abrupt end when they lost 2-0 to Krajisnik. This result allowed us to extend our lead at the top of the table to 8 points, to my abject delight.

League Matchday 29
League-M29.jpg

Bala put in an excellent performance with a four goal hattrick against Butmir as we won an 8 goal thriller 5-3.

League Matchday 30
League-M30.jpg

We had a quiet game against Proleter Dvorovi, but still won 2-0.

League Matchday 31
League-M31.jpg

Bala breaks the league's goalscoring in a single match record by scoring a five goal hattrick against Medjugorje as we won 6-1. It was a good thing we won as convincingly as we did, as we are facing Jedinstvo Žeravica next and this result will be a statement to them as well as a morale booster for us.

League Table going into April
Table Mar21.jpg

Let's go! Eight points clear of Jedinstvo Žeravica with seven games left. Relieved to see we can afford some breathing room at this point. Žeravica are a very tough opponent and I am pretty sure we're going to lose against them. The bigger question is can they beat Branitelj, who are still quite good despite being too far away to catch up to us.

That's it for March. I will return with April fixtures as well as our first youth intake.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. April has come and big things have happened to club during this month. We got our first youth intake of the save, so let's take a look.

Intake descrip.jpg

intake 2021.jpg

Normally I wouldn't include the intake description as most of my intakes were pretty average, but look at this! We have a very good crop of players coming in, and while our facilities could be better, this is still very nice to see. However, I am a little worried that none of these players would make it in the long run as I still plan to drag this club to the First League as quick as I can. Now, let's look at the results.

League Matchday 32
League-M32.jpg

I cannot believe it. We somehow snatched a very close 1-0 victory against Jedinstvo Žeravica where we had our backs pressed against a wall against an onslaught. Their star striker was already rated to be near Second League level and a lethal goalscorer, so stopping him was a great achievement. This victory probably ends any doubts I had for winning the league title as it's nearly a forgone conclusion at this point.

League Matchday 33
League-M33.jpg

We record a routine victory against Vrbanjusa as we now look to end the season without a league defeat. Jedinstvo Žeravica managed to draw 0-0 with Branitelj again, further putting us out of reach of 2nd place.

League Matchday 34
League-M34.jpg

With four games left to go, we officially sealed the title and subsequently promotion with a 5-3 victory against Jedinstvo Brodac. This game was an absolute treat to watch and I have to admit, the new title celebrations looked very impressive and lively compared to FM20.

League Matchday 35
League-M35.jpg

We record another victory post celebration with a seven goal thriller against Železničar Bosanska Krupa as we reach the 100 point mark.

League Table going into May
table apr21.jpg

And that's a wrap. At this point, the next three matches are mere formalities and I don't care if we lose any of them.

That's it for April. I will return with a quick overview of May fixtures as well as the results across Yugoslavia.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. It is now May and the end of the season is here. Lets take a quick look at out last three league matches before we cover the results of all the cups plus the First and Second League.

League Matchday 36-38
League-M36.jpg
League-M37.jpg

League-M38.jpg

We record two draws and one victory in our final three matches, completing a marvelous Invincible season. Here is the final table of our group.

final table.jpg

As you can see, we win Group D of our group. This league has four groups with three 20 club leagues and one 21 club league. All the leagues feed into the same league in the tier above. Going up with us as champions of their league group are Vis Simm-Bau, Ljubic Prnjavor, and Brotnjo Premier.

Now for results from around Yugoslavia.

First League 20-21.jpg

The Yugoslav First League was won by Hajduk Split, who pulled away from rivals Dinamo Zagreb for the top spot. Željezničar Sarajevo, Zrinjski Mostar, and Celje were relegated to the Second League.

Second League 20-21.jpg

The Second League was won by Varaždin, who were promoted with Slaven Belupo and Mladost Lučani. Mladost Doboj-Kakanj, Sloboda Tuzla, Tabor Sezana, and Napredak Kruševac were relegated to the third tier.

Kup Final 2021.jpg

The Marshal Tito Cup, the main domestic cup, was won by Lokomotiva Zagreb, who beat Osijek 2-1 in the final.

KRB Final 2021.jpg

The Bosnian Cup was won by Široki Brijeg, who beat Bratstvo Gračanica on penalties after drawing 1-1 in the final.

KRH Final 2021.jpg

The Croatian Cup was won by Varaždin, who beat Hrbatski Dragovoljac on penalties after drawing 1-1. This result allows Varaždin to complete a domestic double of the Second League and this cup.

KRK Final 2021.jpg

The Kosovo Cup was won by Arberia, who beat Drita on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

KRMc Final 2021.jpg

The Macedonian Cup was won by Vardar Skopje, who beat Gostivar 2-1.

KRMn Final 2021.jpg

The Montenegrin Cup was won by Sutjeska Nikšić, who defeated Budućnost Podgorica 2-1.

KRSl Final 2021.jpg

The Slovenian Cup was won by Aluminij Kidričevo, who beat Mura 1-0.

KRSr Final 2021.jpg

Lastly, the Serbian Cup was won by Red Star Belgrade, who beat Radnik Surdulica 2-1.

That's it for the Rudar Breza save. I will return very soon with results from around Europe.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. In this reply, I will cover the results from across Europe. Euro 2020 will be covered at the start of the next post. So let's get into it.

Bundesliga 20-21.jpg

The Bundesliga was won by Bayern Munich once again, who dominated the league and won with a 14 point margine. Freiburg and Arminia Bielefeld were relegated to the Bundesliga 2. Stuttgart won the playoff to remain in the division.

Bundesliga 2 20-21.jpg

The Bundesliga 2 was won by Hannover 96, who were promoted with Hamburg to the Bundesliga. Eintracht Braunschweig and Würzburger Kickers were relegated to the 3 Liga.

Premier League 20-21.jpg

The Premier League was won by Manchester United surprisingly enough. They did better than expected and finished on 96 points. West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa, and Southampton were relegated to the Championship.

EFL Championship 20-21.jpg

The EFL Championship was won by Norwich City, who were promoted with Bournemouth and play-off winner Nottingham Forest. Wycombe Wanderers, Coventry City, and Rotherham were relegated to League One.

Serie A 20-21.jpg

The Serie A was won by Juventus, who barely pipped Napoli to the title after they drew 2-2, which allowed Juventus to get the superior head-to-head record against Napoli. Spezia, Crotone, and Benevento were relegated to Serie B.

Serie B 20-21.jpg

Serie B was won by Brescia, who were promoted with SPAL and Cosenza. Lecce, Vicenza, Virtus Entella, and AC Reggiana were relegated to Serie C.

Ligue 1 20-21.jpg

Ligue 1 was won by PSG, who finished the season on 100 points dominating the league once again. Nimes Olympique and Lorient were relegated to Ligue 2.

Ligue 2 20-21.jpg

Ligue 2 was won by Troyes, who were promoted with Amiens. Dunkerque, Sochaux-Montbeliard, and Pau were relegated to the 3rd tier.

La Liga 20-21.jpg

La Liga was won by Barcelona, who pipped Atletico Madrid to the league title after the latter ran into poor form and bottled it. Celta Vigo, Real Valladolid, and Cadiz were relegated to La Liga 2.

La Liga 2 20-21.jpg

La Liga 2 was won by Girona, who were promoted with Mallorca and Leganes. Castellon, Albacete, Cartagena, and Logrones were relegated.

CL 2021.jpg

The Champions League was won by Manchester City, who beat Liverpool on penalties after drawing 1-1 in an all English affair.

EL 2021.jpg

The Europa League was won by Arsenal, who beat Lille 3-1 after extra time.

That's it for Season 1 of the Rudar Breza save. I will return very soon with season 2.

Welcome back to Rudar Breza save. Season 2 has now begun and we are underway in our new league. But first, Euro 2020 has concluded, so let's look at what happened.

Euro2020.jpg

Portugal defend their title by defeating Switzerland 3-0 in the final, taking their total Euro titles to two.

Anyway, since we are in a new league, let's take a look at the rules.

S2 Rules1.jpg

S2 Rules2.jpg

We have less league games to play this season as we are in an 18 team league. Top 4 is automatic promotion to the 4th tier Republic league of our section. Curiously enough, I have noticed after the first rounds of relegations and promotions that some teams would be switched to other sections of the football pyramid. One example I saw was Borac Šamac, who are a 4th tier side who were transferred to the Serbian equivalent league to maintain proper league size.

Now the results. Only two matches this month, but there are six matches in August and I rather keep both months separate for now.

League Matchday 1
League-M1.jpg

We open the season with a good 2-0 victory against fellow promoted side Ljubic Prnjavor. It was an excellent performance from our lad as Ljubic are considered one of the favorites for promotion and even the league title this season.

League Matchday 2
League-M2.jpg

Our next match came against Polet 1926, a side from Bosanski Brod. We had no trouble beating them with a final score of 3-1.

League Table
table jul21.jpg

Brotnjo Premier lead the way so far due to recording a big 9-0 victory against Radnički Lukavac on the opening day of the season. Our neighbooring rivals Bosna Visoko also did well to start off so our matches against them should be real crackers. Our objective this season are lax, as we are to attempt to avoid relegation.

That's it for July of Season 2. I will return with August fixtures and the end of the summer transfer window.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. August has passed and the summer transfer window has slammed shut. Before we go into this month's fixtures, let's take a look at our business.

Summ21 In1.jpg
Summer21 in2.jpg
Summer21 Out.jpg

We've brought in some more youngsters for the future as well as quality players to strengthen our side for the season to come. We also secured a few loan deals to strengthen our backline due to the lack of quality defenders in the free transfer market. This time around, we had quite a few departures, mostly fringe players not good enough to feature for us anymore. This window was productive and due to the club turning semi-professional during the summer, we were able to recruit better players on non-contracts.

Now the fixtures.

League Matchday 3
League-M3.jpg

We lose our first game in almost a year with a heavy 4-1 loss away to Metalleghe-BSI Jajce. It was to be expected, as they were relegated from the 4th tier last season and have a better squad than we do. With that said, the scoreline didn't exactly reflect our performance. We played okay, but they played really good and deserved their victory.

League Matchday 4
League-M4.jpg

We got back on track with a 1-0 victory against Mladost Rogatica. It was a pretty quiet game with nothing much happening apart from our goal right from kickoff.

League Matchday 5
League-M5.jpg

This was probably the best, but most stressful games of the season. We faced off against Brotnjo Premier and managed to hold on to a narrow 1-0 victory against the promotion contenders. We scored early on, but were put on the backfoot for the rest of the game as they continuously pressured our defense. We held on and our goalkeeper won Man of the Match for saving 6 shots, including a 91st minute penalty that would've drawn the game level at 1-1. Absolutely chuffed at this result so proud of the lads.

Kup Marshal Tito 2nd Round
KMT 2nd Rnd.jpg

This time around, we start our cup run at the 2nd Round, where we ended up beating ZSK Zabalj 6-0, our biggest win of the save so far.

League Matchday 6
League-M6.jpg

We had a very close game against Novi Travnik, but we managed to ****** a 1-0 victory in the final minutes of the game.

League Matchday 7
League-M7.jpg

A good 2-0 victory against recently relegated Radnički Lukavac secures our 5th clean sheet in a row.

League Table
Table Aug21.jpg

We lie in 3rd place behind our rivals Bosna Visoko and Ljubic Prnjavor on goal difference. Judging from every team's early season form, we look to be promotion contenders along with the other three newly promoted sides. Ljubic in particular bounced back from their opening day defeat to us by winning 6 matches in a row. Hopefully by the end of the season we would finish at least 4th, cause I want to get promoted again.

That's it for August of the Rudar Breza save. I will return very soon with September fixtures.

Good luck mate! Will follow how you get on! :)

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. September has passed, so let's look at the results.

League Matchday 8
League-M8.jpg

We edge out on a seven goal thriller against Glasinac Sokolac with a 4-3 victory away from home. We were 2-0 up before they battled to draw level. Then we score twice more to ensure all three points, but not before they grab a late goal to make us sweat.

League Matchday 9
League-M9.jpg

We welcomed Podgrmec Sanski Most and beat them 4-2. The game was pretty close until the final ten minutes, where we extended our lead beyond their reach.

League Matchday 10
League-M10.jpg

Our away trip to Drina Hidroelektrana Višegrad saw our third game in a row where we scored 4, as we defeat the home side 4-2.

Kup Marshal Tito 3rd Round
KMT 3rd Rnd.jpg

Our next cup fixture came against Lidhja e Prizrenit, a team a tier below us in the Kosovan section of the football pyramid. They played really well, scoring an early goal from kickoff. Unfortunately for them, we were too much for them to handle and Josip Bozic scored a brace to secure a 2-1 victory.

League Matchday 11
League-M11.jpg

We rounded off the month with a 2-0 victory against Mladost Malešići, struggling in the relegation zone and in poor form. This marks our 10th straight victory in all competitions.

League Table
table sep21.jpg

We remain in 2nd place, tied on points with Ljubic but with a worse goal difference. Both of us continue to match our league results as the rest of the promotion contenders eventually slip up, allowing us to firmly plant ourselves in the promotion zone. We currently are four points clear of 3rd placed Bosna Visoko and nine points clear of the non-promotion spots.

That's it for September. I will return shortly with October fixtures.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. September has passed, so let's look at the results.

League Matchday 8

We edge out on a seven goal thriller against Glasinac Sokolac with a 4-3 victory away from home. We were 2-0 up before they battled to draw level. Then we score twice more to ensure all three points, but not before they grab a late goal to make us sweat.

We welcomed Podgrmec Sanski Most and beat them 4-2. The game was pretty close until the final ten minutes, where we extended our lead beyond their reach.

Our away trip to Drina Hidroelektrana Višegrad saw our third game in a row where we scored 4, as we defeat the home side 4-2.

We rounded off the month with a 2-0 victory against Mladost Malešići, struggling in the relegation zone and in poor form. This marks our 10th straight victory in all competitions.

League Table

We remain in 2nd place, tied on points with Ljubic but with a worse goal difference. Both of us continue to match our league results as the rest of the promotion contenders eventually slip up, allowing us to firmly plant ourselves in the promotion zone. We currently are four points clear of 3rd placed Bosna Visoko and nine points clear of the non-promotion spots.

That's it for September. I will return shortly with October fixtures.
On fire at the moment mate - broke the bank with some of those signings! ;)

We have momentum and as long as we keep that momentum, anything can happen. With that said, October has passed and the results are in.

League Matchday 12

We get a big result here by defeating promotion challengers Vis Simm-Bau 1-0. It was a very close game and we managed to edge out in the end.

League Matchday 13
League-M13.jpg

We hosted Mladost Gacko, who were at the time the only unbeaten side left in the league. It was a close match and ultimately we drew 2-2 at the end. Wasn't too bad of a result, but combined with Ljubic losing to Vis Simm-Bau, we would take top spot for the first time this term.

We faced Čelik Zenica in a big cup game for our side. What a game this turned out to be, as it was a roller coaster through and through. We took the lead through a penalty early on before they equalized fifteen minutes later. We drew 1-1 after normal time to force extra time, where their last minute goal in the 2nd half of ET forced penalties after a 2-2 result after extra time. Lucky for us, they missed the first two penalties as we won 4-2 in the shootout.

Our unbeaten run continues as we edge out 2-1 against Sloga Gornje Crnjelovo.

Kup Republike Bosne i Hercegovine 2nd Round
KBiH 2nd Rnd.jpg

We face Mladost Malešići for the second time this season, this time in the Bosnian Cup. Currently bottom of our league, we destroyed them 6-1.

League Matchday 15
League-M15.jpg

We defeat Proleter Teslic 3-1 after going a goal down. It was a slow start, but the goal gave us the much needed wake up call to score three before half time.

League Matchday 16
League-M16.jpg

Our final game of the month was our big derby day clash against our neighbors Bosna Visoko. This was a must win match, as not only were they our big rivals, they are also challenging for the league title. It was a fairly even game for both side and honestly it could've ended in a draw and both sides would be happy. But a last minute penalty allowed us to steal a very important 1-0 victory that solidified our hold on top spot. I cannot wait for our reverse fixture, it's gonna be a cracker.

League Table
Table Oct21.jpg

We cement ourselves at the top of the table with a nice four point gap above 2nd placed Ljubic. Very excited to see that we have a lot of positive momentum with us at the moment as we currently have the best form in the division with 13 points in our last five matches.

That's it for October. I will return very soon with November fixtures.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. November has passed, so let's look at the results.

League Matchday 17
League-M17.jpg

We reach the halfway point of the season by beating relegation-threatened Glasinac 4-0.

Kup Marshal Tito 5th Round
KMT 5th Rnd.jpg

It's the end of our Yugoslav Cup run as we fall to 3rd tier side Kolubara 3-1 after extra time. They led throughout most of the game, but a last minute equalizer forced us into extra time. Unfortunately, we could not capitalize on this and we conceded a further two goals in extra time without reply.

League Matchday 18
League-M18.jpg

Back in the league, we continue our unbeaten run by edging out Podgrmec 2-1 in a tight affair.

League Matchday 19
League-M19.jpg

Our unbeaten run in the league ends here after we lose a five goal thriller against title challengers Ljubic in a big 1st-vs-3rd clash. We were 2-0 down, but we fought back to level the scores, but our performance wasn't enough to keep them from scoring again. It was a very exciting match to watch and although the points gap has shrunk, we are still top.

League Matchday 20
League-M20.jpg

We got things back on track with a 4-0 victory against Turbina Jablanica.

League Table
Table Nov21.jpg

Thanks to Bosna's and Ljubic's poor results elsewhere, we extend our lead over 2nd place to six points. Three of the four sides promoted last season are currently in the promotion spots, a testament to our strength. The other promoted side who were supposed to be among the title challengers are currently in 7th place, eight points behind 4th place.

That's it for November. I will return very soon with December and January fixtures as well as the winter transfer window business.

Welcome back to the Rudar Breza save. January has passed and the winter transfer window shut. Let's first look at the business cause there is a lot of it.

Winter22 Out.jpg

This transfer window has been very fruitful as we brought in a lot of quality players in, both young and old. We also cleared out some of the deadwood, mostly through releases, but a few going out on transfers to other teams. Now the fixtures.

League Matchday 21
League-M21.jpg

Argh we were so close! We drew 2-2 with promotion rivals Vis Simm-Bau and we were denied an important victory by conceding a last minute goal.

League Matchday 22
League-M22.jpg

Our final game of 2021 was a tight 1-0 victory against another promotion hopeful in Mladost Gacko. They played poorly with 2 red cards, but they still gave us a hard time.

League Matchday 23
League-M23.jpg

Our first game of the year 2022 came against Sloga Gornje Crnjelovo. With the winter transfer window newly shut, we thumped them 4-1 with all the goals scored by new players.

League Table
Table Jan22.jpg

We are seven points clear of Ljubic to my satisfaction. Our rivals Bosna Visoko ran into bad form and as a result, the promotion race has a new challenger in Metallleghe-BSI. We'll have to stay vigilant, as they are the only other team to beat us and now they are serious challengers.

That's it for the Rudar Breza save. I will return with February fixtures very soon.
