VAR hasn't been great but I don't think it has ultimately decided any games the wrong way, so bit of a stretch to say terrible.

Did for the Argies today. That was a stonewall peno with about 7 mins to go. Could of give them 3 points!
 
Does this 1-1 draw mean England's loss to Iceland in the Euros wasn't a fluke? Yes Argentina were **** but then so were England! Never underestimate the minnows as they often comeback to bite you on the ***!

Iceland are a very well drilled defensive team that hits on the break and have a couple of technical players. But Argentina and England were beyond terrible! Plus Argentina were denied a stonewall peno.

Cant see Iceland getting a hammering as to how they set up. But will be surprised if they win a match.

Peru looks like a dangerous team. Have no idea who any of these players are, but they play very well together.

Iceland topped their group to get here in WC ahead of Croatia. They are clearly a very good side now, well-organised and know their style inside out as they have adopted that approach for a long time, before the last Euro's.

So I'd personally put Argentina being terrible England being terrible equally down to Iceland being excellent at negating and shutting down the space between the lines to let these players work their stuff. They also held Portugal to a goalless draw in the last Euro 2016 with Ronaldo in that team.

To even be here for a nation that size population, smallest ever to be at a World Cup, take nothing away from them. They work their ****** socks off and have a fantastic team spirit, hard not to admire.
 
Haven't seen everyone yet obviously but Spain and Portugal actually look the best teams overall. (Russia with a pinch of salt so far).

See what Brazil look like tomorrow, but think they could be shaky at the back also.
 
Really gutted for Peru. They deserved at least a draw. If Guerrero played since the first half it would be different. Immense efforts from Schmeichel and good second half from Eriksen.

Yes, Peru gave everything, really harsh on them :(

Brazil actually kept 16 clean sheets in 21 games under Tite's reign, and conceded only 5 goals.
