Was planning too but I needed more experience in my side, I did same like I did with Blackpool and signed way too many players, I recently beat Fulham 5-0 and Kevin Kampl my new winger scored a hat trick.
My signings so far
Ryan Gauld bought him for 7m now on loan at Wigan to play regularly
Steven N'Zonzi 5.75m after selling Schneiderlin for 21m to Monaco (didn't wanna sell him but that's big money and I wanted to bring in young players who I could loan out and bring back next season)
Juanfran 2.6m felt like needed more experience in the side and that's probably why I have let Chambers to go out on loan because I want to give him as many opportunities as possible and I didn't want one of the three players to be unhappy and Chambers is one who will improve most with game time so I let him go out to get regular football.
Neil Taylor 4m will be a good rotational option when Luke Shaw needs a rest and has been consistent for me when I was Swansea, kept highly rated Ben Davies out of the side for a couple of months as well
Ezequiel Rescaldani 1.4m a good target man who will improve in the future at the age of 21
Tomas Martinez 5m an attacking midfielder an 18 year old, with good potential, loaned him out to Dinamo and him and Gauld should hopefully be my future attacking midfielders and maybe make a good profit on this guy
Jack Butland my most expensive buy yet at 15m a lot of it is instalments and future fees but he is a must buy and usually rots away at Stoke and want to get the max out of this guy
Kevin Kampl 12.75m my replacement for Lallana again didn't wanna sell him but 19m at this stage for a mid table side like Southampton is hard to refuse, I also needed to bring wages down by a fair bit as you can tell I went a bit crazy with signings but I wanted to create my own version of Southampton. Scored a hat trick on debut and has good all round stats
Daniele Rugani loan from Man City, wanted to buy him from Juventus but moved to City bought as replacement as one of my most experienced outfield players Jose Fonte as he left for 2m to bring down wages
Michael Keane another CB in on loan#
Outs
Schneiderlin to Monaco 21m
Lallana to Liverpool 19m
Jack Cork - Stoke 3m
Jose Fonte - West Ham 2mView attachment 379475View attachment 379474
