RICHARD LANDON

Long-Term servant to the club, Richard Landon has left the club after him and manager Sam Charnock had a dispute which stockportcounty.com.
Landon first came to the club as a Kit-Man but after the club were put in administration, Landon was forced to take a role of coach also.
After Steve Wigley joined the club as an assistant manager, and then left the club for Colchester United, Landon was promoted to assistant manager but he himself admitted it didn't work out for him and both him and manager Sam Charnock agreed to terminate Landon's contract.

Stockport County wish Richard all the best in the future.​

Signs of Improvement​

I would like to welcome Nicky **** to the club, since Richard Landon left the club, I was quick to appoint Nicky to the club and he was quick to make his mark on the lads. Since he came we have lost just the one game, which was drubbed by 4 injuries, prior to the game, we started off well but Southampton deserved the 4-1 win. I would also like to thank Lauri Dalla Valle for his proffesionalism in these two months. Lauri has been playing way out of his comfort zone and has been playing Right Back and showed all the fans how good he is there. The change in formation has really suited us.
Also, I have given Miljan Smiljanovic a leave of absence as he was struggling to settle into the club but he has recently returned.

There are newspaper claims that I am considering our position at the club and want to return to the Cheadle End as a supporter, but I can assure you I am fully enjoying my role and want to get this club to the premiership. That target is going quite well, we sit in 12th position.
