Too much?
With 14 players joining the Hatters, some fans are wondering whether it is too much as they are not sure whether the players will all gel together. But the fans seem to be delighted with capture of Ex Charlton winger Lloyd Sam. "The fans are delighted at this signing, and rightly so, what a signing, he is a bargain and hopefully will deliver the goods"
Experienced left-back Jon Harley has also joined on a free transfer and will be motivated by the loan signing of Huddersfield's Joe Skarz who has joined on loan. Midfield maestro David Perkins returns on a permanent deal from Colchester United for a free of £50,000, Perkins who was on loan at Stockport last season had this to say: "Last season was one of my best and really enjoyed, it and now I am an official Stockport player and I am really proud to say that."
Stockport also seem to be looking to the future as West Ham midfielder Conor Okus has joined on a free, Okus seems to have great potential and can easily slot in the current Stockport midfield when required.

I got 70K because I said I would 'attempt to avoid relegation' and I got into 10th posiiton and maybe that was my reward.

Oh I got 0k for 'avoid relegation' and Hatters sorry I mean and read my visitor message. Looking forward to updates. I just changed my whole team so not I replace them with better/less wage guys. And I have a bigger squad!

Charnock 'reeling'
With just one win against recently relegated Blackpool, manager Sam Charnock has reavealed his discontent at the performances after that game. "After 1 win it's like we're over confident and we know we're going to win the next game" The manager has also criticised the lack of cutting edge by his players "We pass when we should shoot, we shoot when we should pass, and when we get into those areas, we need to put them away, or we'll find ourselves at the wrong end of the table"
This outburst has came after the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Leyton Orient "That was simply pathetic, woeful, you can't play like that at any level, anyway, I hope Leyton Orient enjoyed their training session." (BBC had to edit out some of the quotes from Charnock as they were too aggressive words)
On the good side for Charnock, talisman Lauri Dalla Valle has returned to full training.

Another poor month for Stockport but there is a highlight, the last game of the month vs Mk Dons provided Stockport with a brilliant 4-1 win.
"We can't get complacent, last time we did that we got punished, we need to get on a run now, and the next game is against top of the table Crystal Palace and we need to come back down to earth"
