Thanks for all the comments, I was honestly not going to write anymore as there was nobody replying. This has taught me to comment on other peopls threads more to give them encouragement otherwise they will feel the same as me Lets all be nice and comment everyones story, lol
Will do an update this evening but have to get some revision done first.
Got given a £50m budget but with the club in such a massive amount of debt I decided to only spend what I could bring in. Here's the summer transfers :
Managed to raise some good cash for Valencia, Tosic and Obertan, 3 pretty useless wingers for me last season. Also Adrien and Aogo who played about 10 games between them last season.
Started the season with a BANG of epic proportions. Smashed rivals City 5-0 in the community shield to bring in some more silverware, to the delight of the fans.
Great start to the season in all and i'm very pleased. I think we can compete on all fronts this season and hopefully get far in the Champions League as well as doing better in the cups.
Thanks for reading, please keep motivating me with your comments
Off topic but im delighted Just won £50 by putting £2 on Man City to beat Blackburn 4-1. Also said to my housemates I was going to put £2 on Tevez hatrick but couldnt find the odds on bet365, so thats a bit gutting !!

This recent win against Liverpool has meant we go back to the top after a disappointing spell of 5 games without a win. Currently ahead of Man City on goal difference, so it is going to be as close as last year I think ! We have qualified for the Champions League knockout rounds, and a win on the last game will mean we do so in first place. Also still in the league cup after scraping through against Crystal Palace on penalties, next up is Newcastle at home in the 1/4 finals.
The upcoming fixtures will be tough, and if we can come through them with some good results will be in a good place at the start of the new year.
Newcastle (home) League Cup 1/4 Final
Aston Villa (away) League
Anderlecht (away) Champions League (group decider)
Man City (home) League
Chelsea (away) League
As you may remember, I am also managing England and trying to take them to their first world cup victory for almost 50 years. I managed to qualify for the World Cup remaining unbeaten in a tricky group. Here's the results :
Decent result against another top side in Portugal which shows we are good enough to go far in the World Cup. One thing we may need to work on is the finising, as although we put 9 past Cyprus we are struggling for goals in some games.
World Cup Draw
The world cup group stage draw has taken place and England have been drawn alongside Denmark, USA and Algeria which is almost the same group that they have in real life. Should be able to qualify from this group problem free, but it depends who we meet in the next round as there are some tricky potential ties such as Holland, Portugal, Germany, Ivory Coast and Russia.
So I got really addicted earlier and played through almost the whole of the season...
Can't be bothered to post the matches one by one so I will just post the screenshots of the matches played since with the important matches individually.
So we are currently sitting in a good position at the top of the table but I am only one point clear at the top, and my next game is against Man City away.
We have been drawn against AC Milan in the Champions League Semi Finals, with the winners going on to play either Man City or Barcelona. The first leg is at Old Trafford so we will be looking to hold them to a clean sheet, as we are confident of getting goals at the San Siro.
Unfortunately the treble is off after we lost on penalties in the League Cup semi finals and crashed out of the FA Cup against Everton away. But, we still have the potential to complete the season with 2 trophies, or we could still devastatingly end up with nothing.
Remaining fixtures :
Man City away (PL)
AC Milan home (ECC)
Chelsea home (PL)
AC Milan away (ECC)
Newcastle away (PL)
Arsenal home (PL)
Potential Champions league final ?
Very hard fixtures on paper, but we have momentum and I think we can come through them and finish the season with at least one of the major trophies, which will be fantastic considering we were rank outsiders for both competitions.
Will update with match reports after every game, please comment inbetween games etc to encourage me and motivate me
