What do people think of the players already signed by the old firm this season?
I'd say Smith has one alot better than Mowbry but then again It was kind of expected.
As a Celtic fan I'm not too impressed by any of our signings so far. Mowbry doest appear to have a very wide knowlege of players. They say its the money but almost £4Million on Fortune is just throwing it away. We should have bumpd that up to £6 or £8 Million and bought somebody with a proven record.

I think smith pulled another good player in rothen and did well to get rid of the deadwood(yes even barry ferguson!)
Mowbray seems to have found a decent if unspectacular player in n'guemo,on the evidance so far fortune is not looking too clever for the money and the china captain WHAT THE F**K! He ain't no nakamura! when i heard the hoops were signing a guy nicknamed ZZ i thought a certain frenchman had come out of retirement,i very near shat myself! lol:D

Seriously though i was well worried celtic were goin 2 outbuy rangers and come back really strongly but i'm not overly concerned in the same way you guys are barely excited with the newbhoys?
 
Agree with signing Zheng Zhi. Paul Hartley is twice the player he is we shouldve just kept him. And selling Donati just as he was looking good.

Am I the only one who sees that Celtic are in dire need of a CB.

Mowbray let o'dea go out on loan when he's prob your best CB?
mcmanus not good enough,caldwell thinks he's beckenbauer but loovens is started puttin in some performances of late?
Gers in same boat,how much longer can weir carry on and who the **** is the back-up?
 
McManus needs to realise hes not superman and I think now hes not golden boy hes feeling sorry for himself and fight for his place. Caldwell is just a ***** really get him to **** hes not fit to watch football never mind play. Loovens was a waste of money. For £3Million we should have bought somebody who can tackle.

Rangers have a decent deffence but youre right Weir is what 39 and is heavily depended on. Bougherra was a quality signing but off the top of my head I cant name another Rangers CB.
 
Man i didn't realise loovens cost that much,thats a shitload for an average player?
We have broadfoot(god help us!),mcculloch(utility man?hatchet man more like!) and the young boy wilson? we got rid of webster and dailly but even they weren't any good!
would have liked another CB in at least for cover?
 
Broadfoots not too bad but then again he injured himself with an egg. Never liked McCulloch to be honest. Not heard much abut Wilson but he turns out great in FM lol. Webster and Daily were deadwood really.
 
iI just think we're going to get caught out when bougherra goes on african nations cup duty,but then again might bring in someone in january?
 
Never even realised that about the African Nations. Could be crutial towards the end of the season. Still don't think we have much of a chance unless Rangers blow it.
 
Wasn't confident at start of season but starting to believe a tad more now!
 
the only reason rangers could sign a player on loan was because the bank allowed us. they wanted 8mil from gers but since we hav saved nearly 100k on wages the bank allowed us to sign a player on loan with wages 17k a week max(with help)
also rangers were after roystone drenthe and martin petrov but because the wages were to high even with help we got rothen.

basically its true the bank does run rangers
 
I was on fm a couple of minutes ago and found rothen will get a screen shot up in a minute
 
Rothen hasnt been the player I expected. Dont know how rangers fans will be looking at him but from what I've seen hes not playing to his full ability.

Had a good game against Stuttgart where he had time on the ball but has really struggled with the pace of the game here in scotland i think,wasn't surprised he didn't start on sunday for the old firm game!
 
I must be the only Irish person who prefers Hibs to any other scottish team lol
how are they doing?
 
Sitting 3rd in division so far,John Hughes got them playing solid football and signed some good players,most notably anthony stokes from sunderland,should challenge hearts for 3rd this year maybe even 2nd if the old firm don't get they're act together! <)

Ragers didn't want Drenthe and Petrov. Cannot believe you thought that hahaha.

Sean St Ledger will be more trouble than what he's worth mate,has a reputation for being a bit of an arsehole!
We won't sign anyone and will struggle to hold on to a few main players,if you don't win the league this year Mowbrays a ******' fraud!
 
Not that i know of! We're having enough trouble getting matches played(stirling game off again!) bring on the Livingston!
The fella Barr's bangin them in so we don't need anyone else!
