I have been looking for extra cover to add to our defensive options and I decided to bring in the very talented youngster Joe Gomez from Newcastle. I am hoping he will be hungry for first team football and push for a first team place.

Not much to shout about in this group of friendly matches, as always I have picked most of our opponents based on their commercial value. Mostly it was just about the fitness and helping the new players to fit in to our system.

Denis Suarez went for about £20 mill in my save from Dortmund to Munich, I signed him back, decent player should do you well with the a standard the club are at right now, you've done amazing in the transfer window.

Absolutely fuming!! My most recent back up was 9 days ago as well so I will not be continuing this save. I am gonna take a bit of a break until I get a new laptop I think, my current one is too much of a liability, this is my 3rd story cut short due to the poxy thing! Cheers for everyone that followed and commented and may my next story have more longevity.​

This doesn't load up, and today, despite winning convincingly against Córdoba they got relegated to Segunda because neither Barcelona nor Atlético de Madrid beat Deportivo de la Coruña nor Granada. :_(

Ahhh thats annoying, learnt my lesson after my Celta save was lost, I back up my De Graafschap save every week now (in game).

I have decided to have a bit of fun until I get a new laptop, I am going to start again with Eibar but with one small difference, £100m in the bank.. should be interesting!
