You can change the colors to whatever you like. Just go to Preferences - Interface - Skin Colours

As said, from Preferences - Interface - Skin Colours they can easily be changed. I also changed the attributes threshold to my liking.

Here's my youth team after the first season.

Dieme was the only one I bought, costing 1.2m comp. A couple of them don't look that amazing, but Meulensteen (with 18 judging potential) is giving them crazy star ratings.
