I use version 15.2.1 from post #433 and then use the tweaks from Macca72 post #444 read also post #459

I am unbeaten in all tournament for 26 matches now using Real M

Will update the OP when I feel they preform consistent with most teams. I'm currently working on a new version, and I really hope it will be final, and also work for both home and away..

Ok i have found my best matches in this tactic - just 2 tweaks to the versions that I upload with this post.

For home matches - Sir Goalalot - Final
For away matches - Sir Goalalot 15.2 BETA

1 - Delete "Offside" from Team Instructions (dont know the exact name in english version of the game) - this one has be already suggested some pages before.

2 - Add "Short passes" to Team Instructions - this simple tweak gives you ball possesions around 60% per match, and my strikers (Brayan Perea and Alberto Cerri - i play with Lazio 17/18 season) scores 2-3 goals in every match!

I will post screenshots just before going sleeping ;)
 
I'm with Athletic Bilbao and using the updated and plays home away using the one on the first topic. Well started season, winning Porto by 5-0 in the playoff of CL. But got several negative results, as draws and suffered heavy defeats to. Take many corner of goals. My assistant says the error is to have two players marking the first post. After removing the offside trap, managed to win two difficult games (Benfica by CL and Valencia away from home).
 
With the tweaks you all still play counter or do you go for a control or attack mentality?
 
I'm trying out this tactic right now, with Arsenal. Away from home I don't have huge success really. Sometimes it works, sometimes it works after I go one goal behind and change team instructions and mentality. Other times it doesn't work what so ever.

The other thing is corners. I can get 12-13++ corners on average per game but can't create any goals, really (realistic since I'm Arsenal, but still)... I have scored 11 goals on corners this season (I'm in March), which is a bit low if you ask me. Especially when you look how much we create per game.

Where I can find the 2.1 version ? In the first post there is just 1.2 versions... Can someone upload the newests versions of the tactic Sir Goalalot and write which tweaks we have to apply for this tactic ?

edit: Ok, I've find the 2.1 version, now does I need to apply macca's tweaks for this version ?

Just finished my 6th season with Blackburn. I finally won the Premiership too!. I been using the latest version with Macca's tweak which is changing one CM>A to B2B and I took offside trap off, I have kept the Shadow Striker in tho as I felt it worked better for my team. The only thing I would say is my strikers even tho scored quite a few still seem to miss a lot and if they dont score within first half they get a low 6 rating and defiantly wont score that game.

HOME tactic I changed 1 CM(s) to DLP(s) because I have Carrick there, been working wonders so far he even scored a goal. 2 CMs seems to step on each other quite a bit so give it a go guys :D
 
This tactic seems a complete hit and miss. Although i get over 20/30 shots at goal and usually around 60% possession, pretty much i take goals in every game and those 20/30 shots turn in 1/2 goals.

I don't know if it's the game AI but the opposite team seem to have a brick wall in front of their goal.
It just doesn't work for me and i've tried it with a top team and a second league team in Portugal.
