The wibe has gone quiet on the forum, I guess he is working on his final tactic. Hopefully we will get a taste of it soon...

Gonna test this with my first save, with Danish team Brøndby IF - tho i was originally looking for a 2 striker tactic.....

Hi, I'm new to this site.. I too use a 4-2-3-1 formation so just came on to get a little help to improve mine.. this looks just the ticket..

Can I ask how I implament the player and staff filters please. I've uploaded the tactics without a problem. Just not sure how to do the player and staff filters.

Thanks

I'm enjoying this tactic. I got Leeds promoted to the Premier League in my first season and am currently in 10th place halfway through the second season, with only three new players and not much money to spend.

How do you guys find the away version? The home version works brilliant for me, but the away version for me is very inconsistent.

I can beat Chelsea away, only to lose and draw against teams like Leicester and Stoke in the following weeks. :(

Are there any tweaks I should be aware of? Or has the Wibe added it into the OP? I tried to read through the last few pages, but still pretty confused.

Sir Goalalot 1st Season Review with my Fantastic 4 (Soon to be Fantastic 5.5)

So I've just finished my 3rd season with MUFC, my 1st using this tactic. It took me 3 tactics but I finally won the Treble after doing the double last season, coming up short in the FA Cup final losing 2-1 to Chelsea.

Unbeaten in the league (W36 & D2, both 0-0), F130, A18 (was A8 until around 32 games, struggled against weaker opposition in the final 6 games, complacency maybe?) and 110 pts. People say there's no such thing as a 38 game/38 win tactic without save/load but maybe on another day, I might've scraped those bore draws 1-0 so I don't think it's impossible. Not really much more to say other than 1 of my players won either the Golden Boot, Golden Glove, FWA FoTY, PFA PotY or PFA YPotY as well as 8 being named in the PFA PLTotY. I believe I scraped MotY.

En route to the FA Cup final, I beat Plymouth 14-0 (genuinely accidentally fielded full-strength team), Blackburn 1-0 (away tactic showing cracks perhaps?), Wolves 5-0, Arsenal 5-3, Cardiff 2-0 & Man City 1-0 in the final. I actually wanted this as much as I wanted the league & CL, simply cos I fell at the last hurdle last season which effectively cost me the Treble at my first time of asking.

En route to the CL final, I managed 6 victories in the group stage vs. Shakhtar, Olympiacos & AFC Astra (F21 & A3, annoyed not to go advance without conceding). Won 5-1 on agg. in 1st KO round vs. Leverkusen & 7-2 on agg. in QF vs. Juventus (1st time away tactic was more successful than home tactic). It's worth mentioning that although I beat PSG 12-1 on agg. in the SF, they absolutely dominated me at Parc de Princes, despite playing with 10 men for 80 mins. I was actually 1-0 up and they equalised about 3 mins after the dismissal and never quite stopped piling on the pressure prompting me to consider scrapping the away tactic. However, by the grace of God, I beat them 11-0 at Old Trafford and then beat Barça 2-1 in the final. Like me, Barça lost 3-0 away at Chelsea and then won 5-0 at the Nou Camp which is unbelievable if you ask me.

I also beat Chelsea 4-1 in the Community Shield (FA Cup vengeance), Chelsea again 4-0 in the Super Cup and Monterrey 3-0 in the FIFA CWC SF and finally River 5-1 in the final. So my Treble is technically a... Sextuple? I actually only lost 1 game the entire season which was on penalties away to Southampton in the league cup 4th round. Went out early last season as well but I'm hoping next year is my year. :P The 1-1 draw with PSG ended a run of 39 consecutive wins but I've luckily managed to maintain a 64 game unbeaten streak going into my 4th season.

I suppose you're wondering who I've got in my team or more specifically who are my Fantastic 4 or what I mean by 5.5? My strongest line-up is similar to this: (GK) DDG, (DR) Jones, (DCR) Vezo, (DCL) Rojo, (DL) Shaw, (MCR) Kovacic, (MCL) ADM, (AMR) CR7 (yes, Cristiano Ronaldo), (AMC) Messi (yes, Lionel Messi, not Fernando Messi), (AML) Bale & (STC) Falcao. On top of this, I have Neymar & Götze (on a free!) coming in the Summer so I was hoping someone could help me with my next move. I was able to sign the Fantastic 4 as I won the domestic treble 1st season and double 2nd season, generating interest from top players across the globe and when Real quoted me £75m for CR7 compared to his £875m release clause, it was a no brainer as I had only signed 1 player for the 1st team going into my 3rd season. Bale was also a £76m 'bargain' and as for that man, Leo Messi, it took me about a month to negotiate from £195m to £106m in various clauses and installments.

It killed my finances but 6 trophies in his 1st season paid a little bit back and the fact he was willing to join and Barça were willing to sell was too good for turn down. As for Neymar, it actually took me a whole season of unsettling to lower their £161m release clause demands to a measly £95m! (Installments again) I actually had to delay transfer for 3 weeks until the board gave me a £71m t/b and £5.01m w/b.

Edit: I also took over England after Roy Hodgson resigned despite winning EURO 2016! It was the strangest day I've had in-game since Spain, Germany, Holland & France all sacked their managers on top of Hodgson's resignation. I applied for all five jobs and luckily, England were first to respond. France & Holland also offered me contracts, whereas Spain hired Juande Ramos & Germany hired none other than Jose Mourinho. I'm using a different tactic to avoid the stress of forgetting to switch between h&a. It's hard enough to remember to switch at club level.

"I Quit"

So, this just happened.

View attachment 749641

So, this just happened. Also ending a 38 game winning streak in the league. I don't like to make excuses, but injuries forced me to play Varela at RB, a regen at CB and we also had an equaliser disallowed in the 71st minute. Struggled defensively all season for some reason, conceded 8 goals in 32 PL games last season and I'd already achieved that feat by the 8th game this season.

Hey guys! Does anyone got negative fans which is not happy with how the team has played, even if the results is good?

i have to agree with the guy who said that the away tactic has been shaky for him
i tend to get the results in home games, but away is really not consistent - against lower ranked teams as well

love this tactic well the home version more so decided i would tweak and see how i could improve the tactic in whatever way i could been having allot of success with my edited version won all bar one so far after 10- 15 games the only problem i notice is the amount of goals conceded from or just after free kicks throw ins or corners i would go to say 70-80% of all my goals are infact from set pieces would love permission to share my edited version and mabe for some one to look at the defending set pieces on this thanks again apart from that great tactic im reall enjoying

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure that it's to do with the agreed playing style philosophies with your club's board. If the tactic's playing style doesn't match your agreed philosophy then the board/fans will be dissatisfied. A bit of an extreme example but it's the same principle as promising to win the league and only finishing mid-table. If your fans pay to see attractive attacking football and you park the bus/play anti-football in each game, then this will have a negative effective in the boardroom. I think there are five playing styles, I can't remember how many are preset as playing style philosophies: possession, counter attacking (direct), attacking, high pressing and parking the bus/anti-football. Again, don't quote me on this!

I'm going to run a season-long test save whilst only using the home tactic since there have been several occasions where I've forgot to load the away tactic, yet I've gone 2/3-0 up within 10 minutes which leads me to believe that the home tactic could be effective in away games. A key example is when I drew 1-1 away at PSG in the CL SF despite being dominated by their 10 men for 80 mins after going 1-0 up before the dismissal (ending a run of 39 consecutive wins) and then I won 11-0 in the home leg before beating Barça 2-1 in the final completing the Treble. I find the home tactic works nicely at neutral venues (Wembley etc.). I dominated the final in every aspect of the game, just wasn't as clinical on the day.

Moranster- I like the write up m8 as a utd supporter great achievement. Can u tell me what tactic did u use from OP and did u do any tweaks or add any OI. Finally what training and match prep did u use be nice if u could post some SS cheers m8.

Hello, mate. Appreciate your kind response! :) I used home tactic for home games, away tactic for away games and home tactic for neutral venues (Wembley etc.). I don't use tweaks although I've always been curious to see if the tactic functions with IFs and I've also frequently wondered if player switching works since it apparently makes players harder to mark (could be wrong, though!). I don't think the tactic needs any tweaks since the success of my season speaks for itself. In all fairness, I did have a team of world-class superstars (CR7, Bale, Messi, etc.) so as a part of my test save using only the home tactic, I won't be making any signings (managed domestic treble first season without signings, different tactic though). As for OI, this is another aspect of the tactic I could test but I didn't use any as the OP suggests. I followed the OP's pre-season and during season general training and match preparation, etc. Pre-season, I think it's high team cohesion (gen. training), rest before/after match both ticked (bar all way to left) and match tactics (match prep.). During season, I think it's the same except gen. training is high balanced and match prep. is att. movement. Hope this helps!

P.S. I keep mentioning potential tweaks and another one I've just remembered is a training tweak I saw (not mine) if your team's conceding too much. Think it was very high defending (gen. training), only rest after match ticked (bar one notch away from far right) and att. movement (match prep.).

how do you download the tactic? what program do you need?

Apart from FM15? ;) It should literally be as simple as downloading the tactic into your FM15 tactics folder, loading your game, navigating to the tactics screen, 'manage tactics', 'import', load '@HOME Sir Goalalot - 15.2 v1.2'/'@AWAY Sir Goalalot - 15.2 v1.2', 'OK' and then it should appear when you click on your existing tactic. Hope this helps!

Download and save the .pft files into your FM15 'filters' folder, nagivate to the 'scouting' screen in-game, 'filter options', 'manage filters', 'import', load 'Sir Goalalot PF - 15.2'/'Sir Goalalot PF U23 - 15.2', 'OK', and then they should appear when you click on 'filter options' again. Same applies for the staff filter, except you'll be navigating to the 'staff' screen, 'staff search' and then 'filter options' etc. all over again. Hope this helps!

Is this tactic meant to be leaky or am I doing something wrong? I played 7 league games and 3 cup games with Liverpool and did not get a single clean sheet AT ALL. After a few games played, I became quite sure that I need to lead by 4 goals to ensure a victory (Lost 5-4 to CSKA Moscow in friendly after leading 3-0 and 4-2). My last games with Newcastle at home ended 3-3 eventhough I also lead 3-0. Though having said that, the results is quite decent as I am currently 2nd in the league behind Chelsea by 2 points. I just don't like seeing lots of goals conceded and the uncertainty of victory eventhough I'm leading by more than 2 goals in the last 10 minutes.

I'm an amateur at best but are you setting your tactics up according to the OP?

HELLO TheWibe. Just wanted to say thank you and well done, again, for an outstanding tactic. You have managed this year to stop the goals going in at the wring end as well with this one while still maintaining the action at the right end.

Thanks for sharing.

First season with tactic won EPL, FA Cup & Champions league with Spurs. Plenty of goals, 126 in the league and only 26 conceded, 105 points.

Not to be sniffed at, best tactic I have seen so far.

Thanks mate.
