Didnt seem to bring up any players for some reason or the ones it did bring up were completely unknown or not good enough for a midtable serie a side

Heres my update on my MLS Season... Keep in mind i used a few other tactics a game here or there however 85-90% of the season was on your tactic.. If theres a 1 and 2 beside league photo it's because i couldnt fit all players or all games type thing in 1 picture so i split it between 2 pictures. All i did was replace my team with Orlando FC and did my own expansion draft. Jimmy Delgado who was my top goalscorer i signed near the end of the season as a transfer and our leading Assist person was our 1st round pick in the superdraft aka rookie draft

the tactic is the biz since i done my alterations really smacking up teams home and away including bayarn 7-1 away cilty 4- 0 away liv 6-1 away and at home its immense all i did was change the cms to cm automatic and one of the wingers to if and the full back to inverted and for home matches changed to control such a great tactic love playing with it

Not getting any success with this tactic now. Had a good end to the first season finishing 8th with Newcastle, Bought in a few better players mainly defenders and won first 3. Now i've not won in 11 games. Would be better with a standard 442

Used this tactic as LFC in my third season. Won the lot. P68. W57 D8 L3 F220 A43.

As can be seen a great record and one where very few goals are actually conceded - less than one a game.

Can anybody drop some names of players who suit the positions perfectly?
Currently im looking for a Left Back and the Shadow Striker in my Lazio side to suit this tactic.

In my Man Utd save, my DoF signed Gabriel Silva from Udinese in my 5th season for £13.75m. His overall record for that season was 60 games played, 0 goals (unfortunately), 14 assists, 4 PoMs & 8.00 AR. The same season, he also signed Maximilian Meyer from Schalke for £23.5m. Unfortunately, he doesn't really get a look in as I play Messi at AMC but his overall record for that season was 19 (4) played, 7 goals, 13 assists, 3 PoMs & 7.98 AR.

I thought the idea behind the player filters were that they filter players with ones who're good enough to fill a specific position with high enough attributes. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the filtered attributes are bare minimum requirements but even with those attributes, I'm sure there'll be good enough for a mid-table Serie A squad. I'd thoroughly examine scout reports of unknown players, sometimes a leap of faith really pays off.

Really interested in giving this tweak a whirl as I'm still scraping results away but dominating at home. Always wanted to try this tactic with an IF, inverted WBs are the same principle, right? Left-footed player on the right, right-footed player on the left?

Place the player filter files in the 'filters' folder. Should be something like 'Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/filters'. Hope this helps!

How do you guys find the away version? The home version works brilliant for me, but the away version for me is very inconsistent.

I can beat Chelsea away, only to lose and draw against teams like Leicester and Stoke in the following weeks.

Are there any tweaks I should be aware of? Or has the Wibe added it into the OP? I tried to read through the last few pages, but still pretty confused.

Brilliant tactic, however, after my 2nd season in the premier league with Manchester United I did always seem to find the 'away' tactic to be very hit or miss.
I've since started using the 'home' tactic for both home and away matches and find the results to be outstanding, and seems to work a lot better playing away with the same tactic.

I believe 'wilshire10' has cracked the away tactic with this tweak, only 11 games in but so far so good:

I just couldn't get away with this tactic. Average season with my Newcastle squad. Bought in better players in second season (Defensive wise) and the team were even worse. Didn't win a game in opening 7 league games and lost in cup to Sheff Utd.

Ridiculous.

1) Home Tactic - only set to control / no other changes?
2) Away Tactic - the cm support to automatic - both of them?
3) Away Tactic - one of the winger to if - is it important which side?
4) Away Tactic - the full back to inverted - both of them or only one side? Maybe only the side with the if?

I've personally been using 2 IFs and 1 IWB both home & away. Won 30 games in a row since using the tweak, lost 1 (1-0 away), won 1, lost 1 (4-3 away) and now I've won the next 5 in a row.
